I’m a developer and wanted to know how https://newworldstatus.com/ is receiving all the information. Is the site hosted by a administrator of New World?
Is there any non-public information about this?

+1 for public API for things like Queue times/quantities/predicted wait times. Would be great to be able to build me and my friends a discord bot that lets us know what our server we play on looks like in terms of availability before launching the game.
I have a question on this with a lot of traction. Bump it so we can get more people looking and maybe get some answers from the devs.
It looks like the site is making calls to bam.nr-data.net/events/1/{some_ref_id}&{some_keypairs}. A quick Google has says this site is called ‘New Relic’ (https://www.newrelic.com) and is used to help websites track performance and usage. Gonna go on a limb here and say Amazon is likely using their own services to facilitate all things New Worlds, so my guess would be that they’re sending data to CloudWatch, and then CloudWatch is offloading to New Relic. The odd thing is that AWS has services internally that could do this same thing so I’m not sure why they’d choose to do that. That said, I’m not sure how someone that wasn’t on the the inside could have access to this data to display in the same way the New World Status site is. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
I thought the same. The person behind the site needs to have access to the services internally. But its states that the site is not affiliated with New World. Somehow this is weird. I would like to know how to get the information. No single respond to the mail i’ve send to get the API data.
Was thinking about this a little today and wondering if they might be pulling public information from Steam? I’m not sure what kind of public info Steam offers into it’s services so not sure it’s a viable line of research.
The other thing to maybe consider is using Wireshark and grabbing the New World packets to see if they’re exposing any endpoints or keys or something along those lines.
+1 for releasing a Public API
Yes please release a public API
It is more likely the data is being mirrored to a third party related to the admin of newworldstatus.com.
I came here also looking for the endpoint data they’re using, and what else might be exposed.
