Aptitude need some "Aptituning" and clarity

I am currently Aptitude level 301 in Logging. I thought maybe 300 was the aptitude level cap, and that’s not the case.

I have never received a recipe or blueprint in any logging aptitude case, but i have received a woodworker’s outfit recipe in a Woodworking aptitude chest (Aptitude Level 59, 3-star chest)

When aptitude began, I would get Drops of Ironwood Sap in aptitude chests, that no longer ever happens (which is very sad)

I have never received a 4-star chest from any aptitude leveling. It’s always a 3-star or Tier 4, which kind of leaves me wondering how you get those chests. How do you get a 4-star aptitude chest? Why does it show a 4th star but never give you a chest with 4 stars?

Is there an article, or a deep-dive the devs have done on aptitude? Besides just the notes from patches and updates?

I am fairly aware of what’s in the chests now. They used to include Drops of Ironwood Sap, but that was taken away.

I am interested to know about the level cap, the reason for never giving a 4-star aptitude chest ever, and if they plan to improve the drops from the 3-star chests.

well i have company mates with over 1200 aptitude in some skills so I don’t think there is a cap

That’s very high aptitude! That’s around 3k hours needed. I hope they stay hydrated and connected to people IRL
