Its been a long ass time that people mentioned the inequality in some of the crafting professions, especially when it comes to int and focus gear, countless reports have been made, many were answered but it still isn’t even mentioned in the current known issues, there is no legendary gear for int nor focus, the staffs cannot craft higher than 185 even when using the best materials/trophies/buffs, mages and healers have been completely left out for quite a while, its time now to give us some attention.
Currently in the know issues sections there are around 20+ issues concerning shields and swords that most people dont even know about but I guess they are still being looked into, there isn’t a SINGLE one concerning arcana, legendary armor craft or any of the current inbalance there is in the game, I know very well that bugs and a more important issue than balancing usually, but currently the imbalance is so big that its worst that most game breaking bugs we have, PLEASE for the love of god, look into it ! we need to know that those balance issues are being looked into !
I know 1-2 of the posts about arcana were answered but it seems like the information was never really relayed, I believe in you, please make the issue know to the devs, its most likely an oversight more than anything else, and a quick fix would be to allow the use of runestone instead of quintessence’s !
Thanks for sharing your feedback on class balance. Balance is definitely a living system which will be regularly reviewed and tuned. I will share your feedback with the team in our regular reports.
Regarding your later posts in this thread, I understand folks share feedback because they want it to be reviewed by the team, we do constantly review these forums and collect feedback to include on our weekly reports. We’ll do our best to acknowledge when feedback have been noted, thanks.
I just want to be able to remove Debuff from myself again as a Healer…don’t care about the AoE Healing, but not being able to remove Debuff from myself anymore is a big hindrance. Poisoned, Burned, 20% damage reduction, great I can take those off folks but can’t help myself in an expedition, or even questing solo.
Also, more anti-heal, the disease on the hatchet being the only source isnt really viable. Healing too stronk, only mechanic without a counter in the game.
If you reduce healing output, you need to increase healer damage output. Right now healers put out very little damage (and so they never kill you)… they’re very survivable (IMHO they’re supposed to be…) but not very dangerous.
Part of this is because of -
Resilience halting all damage types and not just critical
whatever bug that’s causing heavy armor to be most beneficial
many perks not working as intended in talent trees and/or weapons
If those things are fixed, the problem may go away entirely. Or be much less of a problem. I think they should be resolved before anyone starts changing skills (and maybe that’s why the devs haven’t tuned combat skills yet).
You would think, but this is not how I mean. There is all kinds of damage reduction, absorption, etc, but only one skill on one weapon that reduces healing.
Not when heal do more self-healing that you can damage him.
It’s a difficult problem to not make healers life like hell but at the same time to not give “not helaers” possibility to be same effective in self-healing as they are.
In ideal situation - healer can heal over damage but but do low damabe. But in pve it becomes very frustrating.
I’m sorry, but using the logic where healing shouldn’t do any damage is just wrong. Damage dealers should not have any sort of sustain like berserk or the ability to use health potions if that were the argument.
Resilience is an issue that I hope gets re-worked.
The change to healing splash damage reduced healers already.
If you get rid of the food that also stacks resilience, that could help a bunch as well. Even better if you fix the bug where the food lasts indefinitely with the same bug as the hatchet but not limited to a particular weapon.
By the time you do all that, healing might be in a good place, but nowhere in this game should healers just be prey. They need to have some teeth too.
