Are there really no plans to add an in-game barber?

I created a character at launch and got to around level 30 before I quit due to the constant exploits and crashes that were affecting me. I’ve been hearing that things have been mostly improved over the last year, so I thought I’d come back with the Brimstone patch.

Decided to continue on with my character I’d already put a ton of time into, and had a lot of fun finally leveling to 60. Then I got a friend to join me in game.

While watching them go through the character creation process, I noticed there’s a lot more options now! Nothing makes me happier than customizing my character so I went immediately to Google to find out how to change my appearance.

Womp, womp. There’s no option to, and apparently, no plans to add a barber of any kind? Really? Customization is important to people. Just to get a new haircut I’d have to abandon my level 60 character I’ve put so much time into?

Really? Really really? There are NO plans to add any sort of option to change your appearance after character creation? Can we petition for this? Surely I’m not the only one who would be happy to pay for such a service?

Launch week, 13 months ago:

“Just click randomize so you don’t get stuck in queue, they’ll add a barber soon anyways.”

There’s a lot more purple-haired, bearded women in the 1600s than I thought.

In the latest developer update video, they talk about this subject. Scot specifically says “Barber shops are an important feature, but not something we are actively working towards right now, but long term, the game is going to have to have it”.

well they better put it and tmog as an important focus or they are dumb as hell , they will prob wait til the game comp dies out again and then announce it to try n get players back .
