seeing the SAME bots running 100% farming scripts…would take a min of watching them to know they are bots as they stop on every spawn node for 1s then move to the next when you can see 100% they are empty nodes.
so can real legit players run these same bot programs so we have a chance to harvest things as they are all cleared out by autobots?
i can only assume you are 100% ok with this ags as reporting the same bots for WEEKS on end every day by dozens of people and yet they are still in game farming away…
so what say you?? are we allowed to bot or can/will you do something about it? so far the silence and lack of perma banning these farmers would say your A-ok with it…
Bots or macroing to gain an advantage over others is highly prohibited and it is a bannable behaviour.
For your concern about banning these player that use bots, the team keeps working on reports for this behaviour and slowly these players have been getting banned.
I have put up Screen shots of bot and even real players using 3rd party fishing programs and still nothing has been done about it … If the name wasn’t bad enough his actions should be… glitching in a rock and to make it worse 99% sure he is using 3rd party fishing program !!!
I will try to be patient, though it would ease my mind if I could see the progress of my bot report, to see if it is in the queue, investigated, denied or actually the bot gets banned. I am afraid that a lot of reports just expire without being investigated.
The fact that there are dozens and dozens of Bots that reached lvl 60 simply by harvesting Motes is astonishing and shows how terrible their moderation is. It’s not like the playercount is insanely high so that they couldn’t keep up with the reports.
I do not access to the information about the bans and such, but what i can tell you is that the player reports do not expire so no matter how much time passes, all reports are seen
The bots situation is getting out of hand on Amenti, one of the most active and competitive servers in NW. There are currently 50-60 bots farming T1 and T2 basic resources or fishing for weeks in the same spot.
The bots are getting close to level 50 already, the highest I’ve seen around Everfall is 48 now, and this just by farming Iron ore and Air mote nodes.
Please wake up and take action, they have been reported hundreds or even thousands of times each and the frustration is being directed towards you quite often in Global chat.
You can’t expect us to believe it takes so long to properly identify and punish “illegal 3rd party programs users”. Please react before irreparably annoying the already decimated player-base with your passiveness and ignorance towards this major issue!

That is a horribly fanboy-ish answer and completely misses the point.
None of these people making posts about bots EVER ask for the game to be completely free of them, and all of them know as well as you do that these cheaters and RMT companies will keep making new bots as long as it is profitable.
The point is that these bots run around for WEEKS before finally getting removed, despite often being painfully obvious and in all seriousness only require minutes of investigation.
THE FACT THAT THEY STILL STAY IN GAME FOR SO LONG make it profitable for these people/companies to make more and more of them whenever the old ones are banned, just because of the long time that passes from creating them until they get removed! If AGS was more vigilant with fighting these cheat accounts and ban them FASTER, they would not have the time to create the wealth needed to make it profitable to constantly create new ones when old ones are banned.
Stop gaslighting the situation by stating facts that are obvious for all but also completely irrelevant. Nobody ever asked for 100%.
People are losing faith… we keep seeing the same bots preventing us from getting our own materials, after being reported for days and weeks.
dozens of people reported a bot runnin pvp missions. (back before the additional pvp missions were added)
NOW, that same bot is spamming chat for the coin selling websites. it is the same bot, still on my friends list… why was the account not BANNED?
I see the same company running around collecting 1-2mil a week from taxes. Fun system guys. Great! 1% of the player base can buy their way to max… Awesome. So good. Glade I have to pay taxes on in a video game for everything… Feels good man…
Just the fact that even after 17 years Blizzard hasn’t been able or refuses to keep the game free of bots has me convinced games like this ‘allow’ a certain threshold of bots, possibly for what they do to the economy. Other than complete incompetence there is zero reason a bot should be able to farm to 60 from tier 1 nodes while being reported by thousands of players over the course of a couple days.
Might not be allowed to use it but they don’t do anything if you do so I guess the real answer is YES go for it
ok good job guys I am done with this game players must be buying gold like crazy because bots are running everywhere gathering and mining everything up can’t even gather stuff . For a company as big as Amazon I am shocked you would let this carry on !!!
