3080ti 12GB set to performance 240fps no V sync

I had 0 fps issues or graphics issues from the game set to max Nvidia Geforce Experience Maximum recommended setting. That dynamic resolution setting in game off. I don’t get 240 fps usually in this game though, it’s just my default, but my FPS always quite adequate.
Input lag from playing with people multi 1000s of miles from the server is something I would get though.
3080 here, zero issues.
I run Lasso for CPU as someone suggested in this thread (Stuttering fix. zero stutters in OPR, Towns, ECR) only because in towns I get a weird stutter without it, nothing crazy just noticable.
RTX 3080 at 3440x1440. Playing on “Very High” video settings since beta with no issues outside of the stutter in Towns. I’m at the foot of the stairs in Everfall at 10:30pm at 84FPS. It doesn’t drop below 60 when I pan. The pan is smooth.
What? I also have a 12900K. but only a 3080. I can keep a pretty steady 120fps.
Except in wars of course.

Same resolution and also low. (Does not rly make a difference).
War depends if recording or not and if in a big clump or not.
I have limited my fps in nvidia control center to 100, but only get this in wars when a bit away from the main action.
On point with massive fights and recording it sometimes drops below 60 (55 or so).
Its CPU dependent. I do not run a maximum overclock.
Funny enough I get almost the same on my notebook which is a Ryzen 9000 series and a 3060.
Have you tried setting everything to the lowest possible settings and graphics options to off? If so, what FPS do you get with these settings?
If it improves enough, then start increasing or turning options back on and see where the problem occurs.

Maybe the 7800x3d raises the minimum bar to 70+ 
/flex.
S hit runs everything.
And my electricity bill went from 40 odd to 100 for the months I was grinding out in game.
Since I stopped turning on that fire hazard, bills gone back down to 40 odd.
Lol. MMOs and performance. Never ending cycle. Sometimes it’s not your hardware guys. It’s simply the genre.

Now I am waiting for the new OLED monitors to hit the market and I’ll drop another few thousand to test out 7900xtx.
Damn game engines (MMOs) are super outdated.
I have similar problems, went in yesterday to check out the game and my fps is totally scuffed, not even worth playing as it is right now. Nvidia 3080 Card here
I have friend that does play Nw on 3080ti and he has no issues.
Having same issues with 4090 I have over, 2500k hours in the game. They just simply don’t seem to care about their current players at all. Most game companies would off had a patch for the optimizing in days or within hours, but they don’t care there has been no communication about this they’re hoping it will just fade into the background obviously they’re more focus in just trying to get new players in, so they can f*** them off after they have milked them and repeat the cycle. It’s absolutely disgusting they’re doing this, they know their game is dying so
they’re again focused on trying to make as much money as they can before it’s dead.
For you folks with working systems, Are you on Intel or AMD?
Sounds like its a very specific combination of things.
I dont know if that helps but for my 3090 it works well.

I play on an old Geforce GTX 1050 Ti and i have no drama’s 4k UHD monitor lol it’s only a 4GB card run’s it fine.
Unfortunately I have moved on.
No intention at the moment to come back.

But my hype for Throne and Liberty / Starfield surpasses any love left for New World at the moment.
And I have way too many good games to clear/play instead of turning up my fireplace for something I have no lingering interest in.

I have not had many issues until the past 2/3 days. I now can’t go near helio in game or frame rates tank turning and facing away from helio and they go back to normal. Most the people I play with are also having issues near helio, on orofena.
It’s only inside the helio area or when outside facing into helio.
I’ve still been having the issue since Dec 6th. I’ve open up a ticket with AGS, but they aren’t even replying back anymore when I asked for a status update recently. Game has been uninstalled and i’ll move onto the next thing…
