I’m not bothering with the form portion because this isn’t new which is even more upsetting. I am sitting on several different weapon quests because there is still an issue with some specific mobs (and walls) having obscene amounts of health and damage. To name a few, Scorpius tentacles and the wall to the main boss chamber. Eridanus and the seed keepers or whatever the hell they’re called. Malevolence and their caster mobs as well as the wolves. The dryad wolves in eternal pool. The brightwood elite area’s Archminister Havelock has more health than 60+ mobs but he’s only level 35? I’m sure there are more so others having this issue please feel free to add to the list.
These mobs are making the quests obscenely difficult to complete so please for the love of god can we get a fix for this already?
I call bullshit, there is no way that random nobody mobs in these areas are somehow 5x strong than everything else around them. It literally takes three times longer to kill a single Malevolence caster than it does to clear a group of sns and bow dryads. There is clearly an issue with the scaling of certain enemies and I know I can’t be the only one who thinks that…
This is really horrible, quests that are marked as “solo” you have to face a mini boss that is impossible to kill, I am stuck on 3 quests, that at the end of them appears a monster elite, that is impossible to kill alone, I even tried with another friend, and it is impossible to kill, i’m really sad
There are definitely low level elites that have an insane amount of health now that didnt before either. Theres that little island in brightwood with the elites and the named elites specifically around the twostory house in the back have an insane amount if health. I remember being able to solo these as i was leveling but with a challange an had to be a few levels higher. These are lvl 30 something mobs right?? Now it literally was a 15min fight for each mob with 2 lv60s and a 38 in the group. One of the 60s being a healer that can dish out dps inbetween heals w/ out there would be no chance. I definitely do not think its intended for quest that are ment for lvl 35s to require 2 fully geared 570+ gearscore 60s to complete
Haha, funny that you mention that because I was passing there and decided to stop to complete faction quest on the way. I had been there many times before throughout my time leveling and post-60, but not since the mob buff patch.
Boy, was I in for a rude awakening. Here I am with my puny 600 GS legendary hatchet, 3 pieces of 600 GS legendary armor, and an average GS of 580 (including a 499 legendary earring). I barely even made it across the wooden bridge before getting surrounded and dying. Took out a couple, but there were just too many mobs that I couldn’t kill fast enough. They didn’t even hurt that much–it was just attrition over time and constant stagger (despite being level 60 and in full heavy armor).
not sure how it is exactly but i think the more ppl in area attacking single boss the more buffed he gets. ie myg runs when group of 40 attacking commander he is more powerful on top of his usual power. there has to be some trigger to buff the elites as i did the elite Brightwood island myself with that ghost 1st floor and when we came back to help a guy with quest the elite was much stronger.
I can’t see this being the “overall elite mob” buffs that were rolled out, because other elites in the area are nowhere near the same difficulty to defeat, and it goes beyond named mobs as well. Seriously, go to malevolence and fight some SnS and bow dryads, then go fight one of the random casters kneeling at the random wall portals and tell me something is not wrong. This is happening on City of Brass server and I’d like to know if it’s happening on any other servers or worst, every other server.
