That’s what happens when the OPR is mainly melee, whichever side has a better zerg steamrolls the other. This is what y’all asked for so now you gotta deal with it.
I love opr but it’s a complete joke right now. The one sided steamrolls are completely out of control. You are either at their spawn within 4 minutes or they are at yours.
It is the map. Its always been the map. Change the map ffs.
Its like a 3 minute walk back to the action after you die.
Want to guess how long it takes to get an army to star/moon from mid? Less than 3 minutes.
A wipe basically guarantees a bad, one sided game. Maybe put the spawns closer now that we have been tortured for a year with this?
You know those mountains next to star/moon that you cant climb? Can we just spawn there at the top?
Put a wall up so muskets cant sit there.
The opr rolls are a l2p issue.
People just rushing mid with zerg mindset and playing like a tdm lead to this.
20 people, who are only able to group by 5s, should not be expected to execute some strategic comback in order to compete because they lost a single fight. Especially if the winning team can just turn their brains off and walk to spawn.
The game needs to give these random teams more comeback potential. If teams could organize more this would be understandable, but l2p doesnt mean much when you cant control the players in the group
Just learn to play against a whole zerg of bruisers and healers all using the same weapons, skills and perks because the game is totally balanced
you know whats annoying nothing but 98% dex players in opr all with bows and muskets thats annoying . Also the fact that they cant manage to make a simple working scoreboard ever . Half the time im healing and itll bring up low dmg when i wasnt really even doingf dmg was healing bcuz im a healer… like devs hello plz fix opr balance it out IDC if i gotta mf wait 5 min per q limit the amount of these dex kids im tried of vs teams where 99% of these 5man premades are all 400 dex players . LITERALLY MAKE IT CROSS SERVER OPR WITH ROLE QUES . it being cross server will help with q times ., PLZ LISTEN TO ME there has to be something done about this @o-o @Aenwyn
idk if your trolling but i have yet to see a single mdps on either team 99% of both teams is bows and muskets
Nope, not trolling. Any server that still hasn’t adapted to the zergfest/melee with pocket healer opr meta is considered a non-competitive or very casual server.
Literally OPRs end within 5-10 minutes with one sided zerging (whichever side zergs harder wins)
Oh, 10-15 muskets on Team A?
there’s also 10-15 Melees on Team B and 11 times out of 10 Team B zergs the f*ck out of the outpost and gets 3 cap, locks the musket/bow team into spawn and the game ends right then and there.
ok so trolling then got it but i have yet to fight actual mdps ever its always lil dex kids hiding on mountains /rocks
Casual server then. Definitely not trolling.
Sorry bud, I played more OPRs than you ever will play the game ![]()
Lol
Dude they are not even able to handle beta issues and things that should have been here at release already. They abandoned the game
Among other things that have been mentioned here are loser mindsets, and people who just want quick chests/gypsums. There are about a dozen people on my server who become super toxic when you try to back cap them or even attempt to fight your way out of a spawn camp.
I don’t want to say “remove rewards from opr” because I believe you should be able to progress through PvP, but something needs to be done. Maybe tone down rewards so that it’s based on the length of the OPR.
And add cross server and matchmaking ffs.
Well…yeah basically.
I like steam rolls because that is how you get your boxes and track xp at the fastest clip personally. ![]()
But, if I am at the other end of a good steam roll, best thing you can do is hope to cause havoc at the enemy’s home base and allow the pressure to release as teammates inevitably stop typing and standing in base and decide to split between mid and our home (not always a guarantee ofc).
The number of peeps who just want to play ARAM and put their head in their hands as they get spawn camped is comical. Aside from the Musket teams who beam you from every angle, just taking two seconds to divert traffic elsewhere is enough to reverse course to stall or turn a game around. But that truly is asking too much from the average NW player who would rather sulk about not getting their 500/3000 points as opposed to just going against the grain by counter jungling, capping our own spawn off the rip, or rushing their base. ![]()
The same thing happens when there’s mostly ranged in an opr as well.
I agree. Map needs choke points like bridges or caves or something. Also the position of the forts are too linear, and there is way too much open space. There should be a section of the map that’s open like that but not most of it.
Telling people to learn to play is clearly a constructive feedback to you.
Internet has made people like you think that disrespecting others is okay, I’d really love to see you call someone a “low iq” in person.
