Knowing AGS, we wont even get an OPR map with the expansion.

If they don’t drop a new OPR map with the cross server queue patch then all hope it lost. Literally will not get a better chance at bringing people back from the PvP side

I mean this is wrong though? Like I understand you’re jaded, but multiple new modes relating to PvP and actually understanding the issues leading to real balance brings people back.
I got the impression in the last q&a that they were only modifying the existing map with cross servers. Adding a door at Baron. Making doors harder to kill by ranged weapons. Etc. . It would be on the road map if they had one planned.
Ye does seem like something you’d advertise, but alas the original roadmap was lacking and they showed an improved roadmap to us. So who knows, but you are probably right.
It still would be a massive missed opportunity

AGS clearly have no clue how to balance… they don’t even understand the strengths that kept people playing the game in the first place.
Anyone who was part of the Amazon ‘Dream Team’ parachuted in to ‘fix’ this game should be banned from ever working on games again… from the very outset they have offered nothing but ill-informed ego and slavish attention to tangentially relevant data points; just a spectacular waste of a potentially genre defining game. If I were an AGS employee I’d be ashamed of the company leadership.
Ya I’m not going to argue with you there.
However the core combat of the game for PvP is undeniably fun and a draw. They keep shooting themselves in the foot and show they don’t have a grasp on PvP at all.
That being said they are hiring a new combat lead, so if that person is capable they have a unique combat style to work with, just asking they actually PvP and understand the issues to each weapon.
This is exactly the thing they are looking at as their ‘big barrier’ now.
Did you not see Scott ‘Not My Fault’ Lang in the latest interviews? “We didn’t screw up that bad, we have the courage to say the combat is actually bad and we are here to fix it”.
If you trust these buck-passing incompetents then good luck to you…
Yeah I don’t get why they just can’t release a new map. I’d think it could be done relatively quickly and buy some time for pvpers.
Well my guy is a PvEr so I always take what he says in regards to that. They don’t like how weapons have become meta in Muts and it’s making people unable to find groups if they run diff specs.
They don’t understand the issues facing regular PvPers cause they don’t play PvP
This is what i mean; you tune the mobs not the weapons. It’s a PvX game, with a game world driven exclusively by PvP… of course you tune mobs not weapons. They just make constant idiot mistakes.
Ya I’m not arguing with you, their track record has been very poor. I’d be long gone if the core mechanics on the PvP side weren’t so fun
The game is dead but other say its not we know it is, the devs have not idea what they are doing but they think they are doing a good job p.sl this is mind blowing
DO you not realise how you reach level 9000 cringe everytime you post on a forum of a “dead game”…? Are you able to make the connection between thinking a game is dead and you being here ?

some adjustments to the map we have would be enough but no we get a new arena map. like who fkn cares about a arena map
