Arena queue system feels bad

Problem: Arena queue system does not reliably match players up for battle. Two examples from this morning’s pre-work arenas:

Example 1.)

We had to 2v3 that entire time because someone either missed or declined their arena invitation.

Example 2.)

This one is a little trickier to understand, but you’ll notice I have 0 deaths, but our team has 1 loss. This can only happen because I was entered into an arena after the match had already started, which tells me a similar scenario happened as example 1, I just happened to fill that void for my team in example 2.

Did my team win both times? Yes.
Did it feel good being forced into those situations? No.

Suggestion: Players aren’t teleported to the arena until everyone accepts the invitation.

This will become increasingly important as we draw closer to the much anticipated ranked 3v3 arena that was announced earlier this year. Various reasons from afk players to bad actors win-trading can be averted by a confirmation phase before initiating the arena.

Players would simply hit F1 as normal, but the arena would not start until all 6 entries have accepted the invite. If any players fail to accept the invitation within a short time, the queue is restarted and any non-accepting players are kicked from the queue.

Definitely seems like there needs to be a ready check.
