Arenas should not be ranked. That would be a mistake that will drive others away. I would keep it simple and base it on the number of wins and kills.
Leaderboards aren’t coming until autumn anyway and the game isn’t yet settled on many issues combat being a major one. It’s too early for this but a barebones instanced 3v3 mode is going to be fine if it’s kept simple.
How would it drive others away? 3 new level 60’s getting stomped by 3 players with 625 gear score is no fun for anyone.
They will likely equalize stats upon zoning in.
I do not agree. Ranked area is what gives it its value. It needs a rank system similar or identical to wow.
Proof that 3v3 arena will not have ranks?
