Argent and Aether - Main Quest Bug

• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I can’t get the azoth staff - sort of important.

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:

1.) Acquire 5 Silver Ingots - the quest advances and tells me to go to Mirador Forge to craft my Azoth Staff Crosspiece

2.) I go to Mirador Forge as indicated by the quest marker - the quest advances and tells me to ascend the ruins to find the forge

3.) I climb up the ruins to where the quest marker shows - the quest does not advance beyond this.

I can see in the forge room, the mini-boss Ezra is in there, there is a visible forge and anvil. I have killed the mini boss a dozen or so times now and the quest wont update. I have tried to interact with the large forge and with the small anvil but the quest wont update. I joined a group of 2 people who were ascending the ruins and their quest updated to tell them to kill Ezra, they did and then they made their crosspiece, even though I was in the group, on the same questline, mine did not update.

I have reset the quest many times. I have dropped the silver ingots, reset the quest, picked them up again and everything updates the way it should until I get to the damn forge - then nothing happens.

Suuuuuuper frustrating.

• When did this happen? October 1, 2022… Yes 2022… the main questline is STILL bugged in 2022…

Did I mention this is frustrating?

EDIT: I have also tried logging out and back in, resetting my PC, resetting the quest without Silver in my bags and then restarting the game before picking up the silver… I’ve debugged this every which way I can think of…

I can’t explain why it fixed itself but after another log out / back in, dropping the silver on the dock in front of Yonas, resetting the quest, talking to Yonas, picking the silver back up, running back to the forge it finally updated and I was able to get credit for killing the boss.

The only thing I did notice - the chests in the room had respawned since I looted them last. Perhaps there is an internal server timer/tick associated with the quest updating every XX minutes like chests? Prolly not but it’s just what I noticed.
