According to nwdb, Artisan Jewelcrafter’s Tunic drops from Ivan the Inevitable in Ebonscale. I’ve camped him for around 8 hours now over several evenings, received ~3-5 of his named drops, but have not seen the tunic.
I was wondering if anyone has farmed him or has received this? I’m probably unlucky, but who knows with how many items are missing from the loot tables…
You’re probably going to hate me for this but I bought one on the trading post this morning for 800g. First one I’ve ever seen on there. It definitely drops from something, but I couldn’t tell you where or how.

Yes, ivan drops the chest, we had one drop from him for our JC and now trying to farm a second.
After 8 hours of farming ivan, with 2-5 people between outpost rushes
10 hrs in and no drop, can we fix this drop rate so its not THIS disgusting?
I can tolerate 10 hours of mining orichalcum/ gathering fiber / grinding watermark since we are at least getting something out of that but all he drops is pure garbage except that shirt.
I guess AGS developers has more important bugs to fix but man this grind is brutal.

Hi, might I ask when exactly this happened? And were you getting other drops from Ivan whilst farming?
I’m asking because I’ve just gone and done about 30 kills of Ivan for the chest piece, and he hasn’t dropped any loot at all, not even once. Please don’t tell me yet another thing’s broken.
That’s normal for Ivan, he mostly doesn’t drop any loot. Maybe 1 in 10-15 kills gave me loot. Also it took me around ~8 hours of killing him to receive the tunic - it’s not an easy farm!
I feel you guys, trying to get this item on my server as well,
from 10 kills he drops 2-3 times, could it be that if i would be under lvl 60 the drop rate would be increased? even with a luck score from 28 the drop rate is still crap to say it quite honestly.
The mixer’s Coat is much easier to get, drops from Palade maiden Xiao on top of Imperial Palace.
You cannot drop the item if you are not lvl 59+
Okay, I can confirm Ivan indeed DOES drop the jewelcrafting chest, although, as others warned before, it’s not a very easy grind, unless you luck out significantly, of course.
Took me something between six to seven hours of constant kills on cooldown last night, before the tunic dropped.
his drop rate is low, i’ve gone 20+ kills no loot a few times. he drops an item maybe 1/10 times on avg
I am currently on my 18th hour (over 3 days) of grinding and still haven’t found it. I know i’m well over 600 kills at this point. And at one point had 9 people present for an hour trying to farm with me and no one got it. This drop is worse than Ori chest at this point. THis HAS to be buffed…

You’ll have much much more chance of getting the Mixer’s Coat on the boss on top of Imperial Palace. But it cannot be soloed easily.
It also doesn’t have a 70s respawn timer. Plus i’d also killed that one 15-20 times
I think it’s better to farm the 62 boss (Palace Maiden Xiao) if you are a party of 5 doing it for 1 guy for example, you should end up getting it in just a couple of kills.
I’ve done it there, we got the Stonecutting and the Mixer’s Coat in a couple of hours.
