It is indeed sad to see NW failing at this basic level, i would love a proper third person MMO with decent graphics and proper PvP. Especially with something like the musket.
Voidbent was an example. Most PvP gear contain a weapon perk and Resilient. For example this armor piece was sold for 35k gold on my server.
It has Resillient, Sundering Riposte for my Rapier, and Refreshing Ward. This is a feet piece which costs as much as 2 Voidbent pieces. A chest piece with similar stats would cost upwards of 45k.
Any PvP gear that containts Resillient and a weapon perk with the right attributes are worth a lot more than voidbent anyways.
This went for 150k on my server.
This is endgame BiS stuff which should be
hard to obtain.
You can probably find a gearscore 550-590 piece with the same stats for MUCH cheaper.
Like 1-5k.
If you want BiS, you’re gonna pay for it.
Depending on the server, you have to craft them yourself.

And that’s fine, which goes back to the point I’m trying to make. It’s not easy to obtain good gear by paying for it, assuming you don’t RMT.

Probably a medium armor build where you can run Heavy chest, heavy head/feet/hands, light pants, and medium head/feet/hands.

That sound like a headache for such little reward.
They are making it so you have to farm your water mark now anyways so if your 500 WM and buy a 600GS armour then you will only have the stats from a 500GS same item.
So all in all OPR is useless now (after the update) other than having abit of pvp fun if you like that.
Because it’s not having the marketing capital or hype build-up that games from known AAA studios have. Amazon in that since was known because well Amazon.
You see a lot of horrible games with Hype having 300k+ players at the start, while actual good MMO’s never get over the 25k threshold. To name a good example “Gigantic” well more a team based “FPS” but anyways. It simply died because other games from named publishers suck up all potential users.
