As a returning player, the game seems better

hello all.
i pre ordered the game, played the beta and played for some time after launch, i believe almost 2 months to be exact.
so, after returning i would like to say what are the things i loved the most in the game compared to before.

1 - teleports: before, it was hell, they used to cost too much to teleport, even if you needed to go to the closest shrine or settlement, unless your faction controlled the territory. honestly, i am very happy with this change, making teleports way cheaper, making the game more enjoyable. for me at least.

2 - bank: i hated how your faction needed the control of the settlements if you wanted to traqnsfer something from 1 bank to another. and it used to cost a lot depending of what you wanted to transfer. so i must say that the changes in the bank system are my favourite, since i like to farm and craft.

3 - the new scrap system: allowing me to scrap gear to get items that allow me to trade for resources or xp. makes leveling professions less bothersome.

4 - the “paragon” levels: it’s a nice addition allowing you to continue gaining XP even after hitting max level in the professions, rewarding you with some nice rare items and maybe profession sets if you are lucky.

the game is way more enjoyable now with so many QOL changes, making it more fun to play

Agreed and we’ll written. However it will get stagnant quickly after 60. Hope you enjoy it as long as possible before leaving again

New World is definitely a work in progress, but there has been progress, and that’s a comforting thought.

But yeah, I also recommend enjoying it as much as you can while you can, because the future is a bit cloudy for now.

1 thing i saw many people asking and i agree is that it need raids, or at least more dungeons.
and for pvp, i believe they need to rework in the way you gain influence.
forcing a pvp player to do quest is a terrible system.
i believe they could keep quests but people should be able to earn influence more easily when killing other players. it’s pvp afterall, so influence focus should be during pvp.

i just quit before because the game was way too unfliendly for me when i wanted to do things like going to other maps or even take items from other settlements. azoth was too hard to come across outside quests.
