They managed to destroy game that looked like a jackpot, well done ags!
Do’nt worry, it’s the same situation here on Hades. We used to have queue for the server with 2000/2000 slots filled but now it’s a ghost town. Maybe this is a feature of the game, from MMO to Apocalyptical genre.
same exact thing is happening in Ohonoo
I’m literally logging off after getting my 4 gypsun casts. lag is unbearable. PvP sucks. Some people lag and others don’t. Can’t find the items I need nor people to farm with… sighs…
It’s Friday night, and we hit the lowest 24-hour peak, what do you want, the game is already dead.
Asgard is so dead that I made fried eggs on my processor at abonscale today.
And at 20:00 I was in queeue when relogging.
Just wait when they add umbrals to OPR if that and price of ammo is the only metric here, what than will happen, im telling you if mama not look for nunny to me Im dead in farmer style by hunger and nerve collabs.
They should have done another round of mergers two weeks ago. Before they took away the ability to see server populations. The simple fact they still haven’t done that is mind-boggling.
insert overused meme of throwing a wrench into your own wheel
hmmm…
I’m not clear as to what this sentence means.
While I don’t discount the reports about server population I am wondering where the numbers are coming from.
steam charts since november has been about a 90k player decline LOL
Thank you.
When they disabled the api which allowed server numbers to be shown I didn’t realize Steam had a way around that block.
Valhalla is one of the most popular servers in the game. Before the mergers, I made an entirely new account just to play on this server because my old server was dying.
Now Valhalla, previously often touted as the game’s premier PVP server, is struggling to fill OPR matches. Even during primetime on Friday I had a queue of over an hour before getting into a match.
There are still a lot of players on the game and on Valhalla, but our top PVP companies transferred to Eden and now PVP is dying rapidly on our server. When I go outside Windsward north gate and see nobody standing around or dueling, I’m a bit saddened because it used to be full of people chilling out, dueling and chatting while they wait for OPR queues.
Asgard is dead? What are you on about?
You might find 0 people if you farm wolves, yes but not if you are actually doing something important. Did you miss the amount of massive PVP from Ebonscale last night? There were literally 50vs50.
Nobody is playing Dynasty because the dungeon is bad, not amazing drops, kinda bugged and heard is a bit overturned but that might be cap.
People don’t play OPR because there is nothing in it but bugs, after the Feb patch things might change but even so there is an OPR running almost all the time.
The price of certain mats got expensive because people don’t want to farm or because most of the people understood how to make gold.
People don’t register for invasions because they got used to being kicked all the time so the company’s own members get it.
Yeah, the game is in a really bad spot, Feb most likely will decide if things will go better or not but Asgard ain’t dead… there are so many things going on, so much drama, so many things behind closed doors. Hell, there’s even an alliance between 1 company of each faction to sabotage one faction from green.
what would you understand, I’m from the Bandits clan, for the covenant
I am aware of all these stories, but these are already faded echoes of those big warriors that were a month ago
you yourself said that no one goes to the dungeon because it is unsuccessful and that no one goes to the ODA because of bugs and no one is engaged in agriculture
that’s all, there is nothing to do in the game, people just come in for 40 minutes a day to recapture or capture the city and that’s it, there is nothing more to do
When they disabled the api which allowed server numbers to be shown I didn’t realize Steam had a way around that block.
Steam always tracks the total numbers of people playing the game – that just comes from Steam, not from AGS. It’s Steam reporting how many Steam accounts are playing the game at any given time.
What AGS did was block the server-level info so that we can no longer see what individual servers have as population. This was inevitable, imo, given the story that they are telling, and frankly I don’t remember any other MMO ever having live data on a server by server basis of actual population being available to players.
PTR is on, i guess some people are gone there, but yea, the market feels a little bit emptier than ~1-2 weeks ago
Asgard is a people not a place.
There are Asgardians all around not just on one server.
Vega is dead also, just few people in everfall and windsward.
Dead game boyz, when they merge servers (again) we will have 1 server with 2k people on it and thats it
