I think we need a few attribute perks looked at moved around just tossing the idea out there dont play int/focus so knowledge is lacking there but
300 str SHOULD NOT be grit you should not be rewarded with being immune from half the cc in the game from pushing your primary damage stat in turn it should be changed to more dmg on charged heavy attacks and would actually pair well with the wh/ga heavy auto perks
50 int should be changed to the increased crit dmg to match the dex tree and also open up the ability for people to work 50 int into there dex/str builds for bonus dmg with out gimping there stats (move 50 int perk to 100)
250 con perk should be removed as it is mostly useless and should be replaced with current 300 con perk
300 con should be made to be grit and be accessible and useable by all weapon types and not only melle
not just stagger knock down and knock backs and pulls aswell (spear sweep, spear javalin,sheild rush,clear out,wrecking ball,reap,malestrom,gravity, cyclone) and it absolutely is not i play melle and dont have 300 str
You should definitely get the 300 str then, live is incredibly difficult without it. Being staggered as a mage makes sense because they can shoot from anywhere, huge range advantage. Melee needs something in this unforgiving CC meta. Melee will literally be useless without it.
im 200 str 150 dex 150 con s/s spear and i def dont have issues with fighting. i very easily assassinate most people in light gear, can easily 1v1 300/200 ga/wh players and can usually win most 2v1 if i play well and time pots. my biggest issue is sticking on light armor since dodge roll completely negates slows. and if your talking about getting dog pilled by 3 ga/wh in opr/war the grit doesnt stop u from getting cc locked to death
on top of the fact half the abilities for str weapons already have grit, u know who really need grit… your tank getting smacked around the dungeon by brutes/bears and sword wielders
Literally the only thing you can do is time your leaping strikes really good. You can also catch people with spear stuff, but as you’ve probably realized, it’s inconsistent. Sometimes you can skewer to catch someone, sometimes times it’s as if you’ve skewered into a brick wall.
yeah with 150 dex in med i basically have unlimited dodges tho so as long as i dont eat a cc chain a ig or am getting dog pilled by 3+ people im super durable and will litterally one combo 90% of light armor players if i sneak up nehind them. i kinda think i started the s/s popularity on my server since ive been running it since pretty much the release of the gypsum orbs
I swapped to light over a month ago and haven’t looked back since. There’s a period of adjustment but the distance you get from rolling more than makes up for one less dodge in my opinion.
ive tried but its hard to get an accurate gauge since im almost full bis in my med build(full resil with weapon perks/refreshing and some elemental aversion sprinkled in)
Honestly my gear is all over the place. I currently have no freedom and no resilience. I think I have 1 or 2 physical/elemental aversion and I’m a menace in PvP . I would like better gear but right now I’m just focusing on not getting hit much in general.
Also I’ve been memeing around with sns/bow(splitting arrow is so good actually) and SNS/ig(toxic, so good)
