Attributes changes coming?

Example right now

+26 strength
one attribute in armour

+16 strength
+10 dexterity
Two atrributes in armour

After update thats coming ive heard that having two attributes will give more an better then single is this true?

People are avoiding the dual stat gear lets remove it from the game.

Na… Let’s force them to use it by making it better, and listening to them complain about re-gearing yet again.

You arent forced to use it though? If i remember correctly they said the change wont apply to gear with con. All theyre trying to do is encourage new weapon combos to shake up the meta

Oh man we musketeers sure happy as hell about it. All the assassin bis gears will become even more bis now.
To be fair, I cant understand why would they make split stat gears give more attribute, this change will just make single stat gears useless. Maybe full const gears will still be good for tanks, but thats it.

It’s great for hatchet users also, but it’s still a real bad idea. I see someone above you didn’t get the irony.

Yeah a change nobody was asking for but they are going to push it to live servers for whatever reason and it will backfire hard.
Have fun grinding your gear again…

I would be very surprized if it is more that 2 a slot.

But overall this is a great change that will give hybrid build much needed love, and make loot drops actaully worth something again. Timeless shard crafts are too dominant at the moment, everyone just runs around with Orichalcum XYZ gear.

But only Gear with 2 Stats when one of them isn’t constitution.

So for example STR+DEX or FOC + INT

So nothing what changes the whole game. So maybe the combinations will be viable too and not get salvaged instant

You are not forced in the sense that someone is putting a gun to your head. But if you want an optimized setup for your build and split stats becomes the only way to get to that ā€œoptimumā€, then you are kind of forced to use them.

They need to rethink how the attributes system works in general honestly!

Okay if your build scales with two different damage types, like with dex/int for muskets or str/int for blunderbuss. You are now creating a system where they just arbitrarily get to have more attribute points than everyone else for no good reason. They just get extra points. And does con matter? No, no it doesn’t. Because they have plenty of baseline points they can chuck into con to suit themselves however they deem fit. Tell me how this makes sense? These players were splitting 250/150/100 or so on anyways and now they just get better damage?

Yup… I would rather they just remove the dual stat, thus decreasing the already diluted drop pool. In fact they could get rid of a bunch of perks as well. If they want to bump stats just do it across the board with a 50 point bump for all instead.

I would vote for removing double stat equipment all together. It adds no true value and only generates junk items with very few builds actually benefiting from it. Only already questionably OP weapons will profit from this change as i.e SnS and Bow builds. Do these weapons really need a passive buff?
Double stat items only generate more problems to balancing the game. If they buff double stat to much certain builds that already are in a good spot will become more powerful.

I’d like to see dual stat gear removed also. Give people a prompt to select an attribute on crafted gear and in the case of named gear just side with the higher number. Also wish that when a perk dropped on a weapon or piece of armor that it was relevant to the attribute. Too many bricked items.
