Why on earth did the team that designed the Arenas think that putting a limit for rewards on a highly anticipated feature was a good idea? Like what is my incentive to keep playing Arenas after I hit the cap? New World is an MMO and not a mobile game you play for 10 minutes during a break or something.
You’re literally putting a cap on the fun that people have with your game. Let people grind it out and get as many rewards as they invest time into. So stupid.
Honestly i don’t get why the Game Devs these days lock rewards or progression behind these “timed gates” . Like oh darn you made your crafting CD today well better make more tomorrow. Oh you reached your gypsum limit try again tomorrow.
Why does it matter to the Devs if hardcore players who have more time run through the content / progression quickly? You think they will be burnt out from playing? You’d be surprised by some people just having fun in the game PvPing even fully decked out awaiting a new expansion.
These time gates remind me of Mobile games where you get x amount of energy to perform tasks and then you close it and await for the energy to recharge. Not as extreme but sheesh
