Had my Azoth Staff disappear out of nowhere while doing Myrk. It happened mid Myrk and all of a sudden I couldn’t hit “E” for one of the corruption portals and then noticed my Azoth Staff was gone. I then fast traveled to my house and it came back on its own.
Doing research it sounds like this has been ongoing for months now. Please fix this as that is a pretty big bug.
Hmm not sure why it posted this there as I was in the bug forums and made it there. Oh well. I guess it doesn’t hurt to leave this here too in case others run into this bug still.
Similar things have happened to me with my tools. It seems like if u get hit while in the mining/harvesting/etc. animation the tool, or in this case the azoth staff, can disappear. Each time the item reappeared after several minutes or relogging.
Freaks me out every time. Took lots of rolls to get perfect tools.
Ahhh that would make sense. I could have gotten hit while I was closing a portal. I think that is actually when all of a sudden I couldn’t close it anymore and gave me the big red X and said I need a Tier 5 Azoth Staff to close it.
This happend to me once, to solve it i opened my inventory, doubleclicked the now empty slot and it popped back into existence in my bag.
I lost my purple eyes last week, out of nowhere. Smoll Indei Dev
I’ll have to try this if it happens again so I don’t have to fast travel instead.
