Why does traveling around the world suddenly cost more? Why was it made more expensive without saying anything anywhere in patchnotes?
If I remember correctly, that is what happened last year as well…

I am also shown 40, but I only pay 20 when I then fast travel.
So it seems to be only a visual bug.
It is not visual. I traveled from WW to EF it showed 12, cost 30. Makes no sense.
Same BS happened last year. That is what you get when you recycle events from last years… I wonder where the hell is QA team and what they are doing, bc clearly they are not doing their job.
Could you provide a screenshot of what it shows when mousing over? For reference, my fast travel costs are perfectly normal right now, with a max of 20 at all fast travel points including the Winter Villages.
It is random. I traveled two times, and the display cost was correct. Seems like not all travels are the same.
If you mouse over the actual Fast Travel button, it should provide a breakdown on the costs.

Right now I don’t see any points over 20, that was yesterday tho. If I see it, I will post it.

the boni u recive from faction discounts and from the 300 Int perk to lower azoth costs are nearly useless now.
( and i say that, holding around 19k azoth vials in my storage… )
Lol, Can confirm! Since the patch I have been asked twice if fast travel has been costing more azoth. I paid it no mind. I did notice I have been unusually low on azoth the past few days. I just saw this post, and just checked. I went from MD to BW. I checked the the cost, it should have cost me 12, 20-8 for faction discount. I had 866, which would have put me at 854. I just traveled to BW and boom, 846 azoth. I will continue this experiment. Maybe make a clip.
Clip shows the faction discount not applying. I did a fast travel that cost 20 elsewhere and that was only 20 so that was right.
seems like if it cost 20 it is fine, if it is anything else, it is broken xD
They appear to be fixing this with the patch tonight.
Azoth cost is still bugged. Discounts are not deducted. If the base travel cost is 20, but it shows 6, because of faction discount and company discount, you still pay 20.
