The New World community needs more advocates to liaison between us and the developer/game design team.
One glaring example is how the Azoth Vials were disabled + the communication that went with that. While I very much appreciate the attempt to quickly rectify a player issue, this feels like it was rushed and not discussed enough with people who are putting thousands of hours playing the game to see what the impact would be.
-This Event requires and encouraging traveling around all of Aeternum. This is now not possible without manually grinding Azoth in extremely tedious ways.
-The perfect salvage items require Azoth to convert into their materials, in quantities that make farming for it entirely impractical.
-The crafting overhaul was AMAZING. But we can’t craft now, because of Azoth costs.
-There are still things I’m finding that I don’t even think about until it’s too late. Like respecs for a dungeon or a war. By the time I realize I need that, it’s way too late to farm the azoth for it and is highly inconvenient.
If the problem was people quick-salvaging their entire stacks, is it possible to disable the quick-salvage functionality entirely? That at least gives us a workaround, and while it’s still inconvenient, gameplay functionality is retained.
If not, Is it possible to add Azoth rewards to other things in-game? Like the event bestowments?
For some positive feedback: The sheet music quest item issue was handled incredibly. Adding it to the shop was a phenomenal solution and the communication was stellar. I’m hoping the Azoth Vial situation is handled equally well going forward, so we can all go back to playing this game normally without having to stop and fix our azoth problem every couple of minutes.
