If you push too hard its obvious you’re opening the gateways for backcapping and none of what you say proves that it is an issue to be fixed or changed.
Thats me done btw. I feel like we could do this for hours and Id rather agree to disagree.

And whats wrong with that? You defend them because you think its right because you like them? Thats no different, no need to paint me as the bad guy or like im being irrational just because you dont agree
I don’t and many others dont either, so im advocating for change. Feel free to make your own post on why backcapping is the most amazing thing and should remain unchanged lol you’re not going to change mine or anyone elses (who dislikes it),opinion. At this point, its just redundant to continue.
You’ve said your opinion, ive said mine. Move on
And ps, i did not see your final post before posting this. Glad we agree to disagree
Stop putting words in my mouth and I will not paint you as such.
I did no such thing.
I never said I like rats. I just acknoledge it as a tactic and one of the ways to break the zerg.
dont let the rats hear that
And i just dont think it should be THAT easy to cap a point and thats all im saying. Im fine with the mechanic and its a solid tactic ive used in the past. Its just too easy now.
Its only easy if people choose to ignore it which is a human error and not a mechanical issue of a gamemode.
No it caps before you can run to contest it lol
Well if youre at other teams spawn then yes.
If you’re at sun, you cannot make it back in time to moon to defend it lol
That depends on your build and if there’s actually just one person doing the cap.
If you notice it straight away and communicate its easy to send someone before its capped.
I know this because I enjoy skirmishes and most of the time I am looking out for situations like this and choose to counter-act
Plus there are also people respawning who choose to ignore it. Its a human factor issue, not the gamemode’s
And if youre at the sun whilst leaving moon undefended or easy to contest then who’s in the wrong you or the game mode?
Do you not see how silly it sounds? I am almost convinced youre trolling at this point
And thats what you believe, but i see it differently
We cannot control human nature, but we can adjust gamemodes to manipulate different outcomes with the same human nature
If not nerfing the speed of capping so that it can actually be contested (something that used to be enjoyable but its now a chore), then they should buff the amount of points you get per kill so that chasing rats isnt the only way to win lol
its not troll to see things differently than you. Be mature about this, please.
But it isnt mate. Melee/heal zergs still rule the town due to point cap nature of OPR. Its not a matter of opinion its just how it actually is.
Seeing things differently is one thing but there are also facts to consider. Your posts dont grasp the full picture and miss out on some of the factual aspects of OPR.
Then go back cap them… lol.
“I don’t want to PvE,”
Then go join 3’s and push a territory.
Backcapping is fine, repairs need to be nerfed hard. Need to bring the balrog back to the way he was at the start of the game now that it costs more, they are never used. Games getting worse…
There’s no need to nerf the repairs if we buff the kegs instead or just remove the options to repair if the doors are under attack.
You are right about the big dudes tho. I havent seen more than 1 per 20 games myself.
As ive said, it caps too fast and theres no incentive to stay after capping lol
when it took longer to cap, you’d actually have a challenge and risk for it, and thus felt rewarding.
I don’t. If i did, I’d play a dungeon.
Being in a dominant company, we cannot push territories without the entire server threatening to leave. And 3s are small scale combat.
Heaven forbid I’d like to play a casual largescale combat gamemode. The only thing we have is OPR.
I’ve always thought this could be a good solution to the doors but people complain
Its still rather debatable because most of the rant about the doors boils down to people being reluctant to chase people who gather which is essentially bypassing the root cause
Plus I’ve seen plenty of times when people were hitting doors on one side whilst the back side was left open ![]()
