A juniper bag drops and on reflex I open it. Nuts, no diamond for gypsum.
Hang on a minute that means I miss out on a gypsum for the day. What screwed up system. When are they going to fix these crazy CD’s that you need to run a spreadsheet to keep track of?

Yeah the timing is odd. Same with crafting/emerald
Topaz drops can be odd as well
The upcoming patch is setting all daily reset times to 5am server time, rather than the current “X hours from previous completion”
Yeah, you can technically get 2 emerald, and 6 bags of juniper berries in a day. If you do not time opening the juniper berries you can end with zero diamonds depending on when you open them. You can get 4 obsidian in a day. Topaz is still wonky where you can if you do not time them, end up getting only one, or the dreaded 9( This can mostly be avoided with a timer, and careful mob placement).
I mentioned the changes weren’t going to fix the problems associated with certain gypsum, but even most the player base didn’t want to listen, so I don’t blame ags for not listening either.
All 10 of the topaz do drop. So many bags fall in unreachable places or are simply not seen. Piss poor design on high for sure. The gypsums should always go straight to your inventory.

I should mention though that you can trigger a solitary topaz drop, by taking the potion right after you are online long enough to get the second emerald, or the fourth obsidian. I should time it, but I play to much. Most probably don’t pull down 12-30 hour sessions, and will never notice the second emerald, or fourth obsidian. If you follow those steps the result is 1 solitary topaz followed by none the rest of the timer. It’s not hidden bags either I farm my topaz in a place that doesn’t happen.
