The games population is already dramatically falling. The guild on my server who openly admits to duping and still runs macros on a daily isn’t banned. Those who ran hatchet exploits and firestaff machine gun in wars weren’t banned. Not even the 24h ones.
There’s noway they will bann people here. But if they do it’s a lot of people. On my server it seemed like every single person with a house got the money. Our AH was almost empty besides trashitems
Idk if you’re not on EU but Eu has barely 10 servers functioning well, and only 5 with a decent population. If they would bann 50%+ per server that would be certain death for this game
we only lose gamers gaming system, not players!
we only lose exploiters, not players!
we only lose people with variable ethics, whose ethics change with money, with no ethics at all, not players!

You’re mixing things up man. This thing didn’t come out of the blue. It was planned and intended. Even the devs said it themselves “it indeed seems a bit too high”…not like “it’s broken, definitely is way too high”.
If i were to expect a (kinda big) payment from, say, a return on a big investment, i wouldn’t need to double check. What is here is mine.
Besides : have you ever received a cent more than what you were supposed to ? No, because everybody is very cautious with that. AGS plain and entire fault.
Oh and also, i had 10k before, 180k after. I was about to buy my faction gear with that money, which should be around 10k. Would i have been abusing the system, or just using my money ? There’s no telling anymore since things are broken. So even if nobody had spent money on the auction house, we would have needed a rollback anyway.
So stop calling people cheaters, this is obviously not bad behaviour, nobody will ever get banned for that. At best, you can despise those people, but you’ll still have to play with them after the rollback is done 
ags mistake is sending more gold , player mistake is trying to use that gold to gain advantage on Ah ,eventhough he probably knew there is some problem with that amount .

This will definitely solve the diminishing population issue, and not at all accelerate servers death.
The simple fact that you said you would have only used 10k says it all.
That’s no abuse in my opinion, it’s simply using the money you KNOW you had before.
My problem lies with the people who knowingly & willingly bought out ENTIRE trade posts with amounts of money they never had before.
THOSE are the people i’m talkin about should get either banned or their accounts reset.

I am playing on a peak 200 player server also and i want that to happen. If you afraid from something you can not provide justice. Just to show there is zero tolerance to abusing. It is Better to play in a 100 server all clean then 2000 People and corrupted

That is like saying execute every citizen that didn’t spend their stimulus pay on only essential goods.
If I was chilling at the TP waiting on the compensation money the patch notes promised me I am going to spend of it what I can afford to be without… and if that happens to be 300k well then I guess that was what the game decided I was worth 
I have over 100k gold and received due to the bug 44k gold. Someone put earrings into tradehouse for 8k which I had bought anyways + my casual shopping - hp potions and stuff. So whats ur advise for handling ppl like me who spent gold in the meantime you little genious 
I am not saying perma ban to all… Death sentence is not every guilts penalty but there is a penalty for every guilt right? So i am saying ban them for couple days. If they want to continue after that, they will know there is a penalty for that in this game. If they abuse, get couple days of ban and consider not coming back again, then my server will be more clean, ill thank to them for not coming back

all fine you didnt buy mass of materials with money you didnt have.
We talk about people who used Gold they never had or deserved on purpose and stocked up or crafted with it or tried to resell for the 10times price etc.
I mean the title of the thread is Ban every player…
Ban typically means to execute them from the game world 
There is no abuse done here. Players were told “You will receive gold after patch” and they did. When you are given the gold FROM THE DEVELOPERS you shouldn’t have to check the forums to make sure it isn’t sketchy.

Of course there is an abuse. There is maximum of 1% player that should consider this is the compansation for their lose. Most of players received that gold not even had that much gold on their total game play, by total. Its not logical to say People should missunderstand that with compansation money.

But that isn’t the individual players fault. There is no reason for anyone given gold from the developers to assume that there would be any consequences to spending it. Not every player (actually not many players) watches the forums or even have Global chat open.
Yeah sure people jumped at the chance to spend that big money when it came in, but that’s on the Dev’s not the player.
In the end mistakes were made and the servers will likely need to be rolled back to compensate for the issue. No players should be held accountable for these mistakes
and be left with 0 players XD
