I was abused BY the gold seeing as I didn’t get as much as I should have got. Other players got much more than me and I don’t think it’s right. I am chatting with support now and they are looking into getting me additional compensation.

Here in the states people have been charged with theft for that, it did not go well for them. Felony charges.
It wasn’t duped, Amazon gave the money themselves, it was a mistake on their end and nobody but them should get any sort of punishment for it.
The players simply used what AGS themselves gave them and banning them would only drive even more people out of the game.
Seeing as it’s almost on life support now that probably isn’t the best idea.
With all the glitches and bugs I don’t see how AGS can ban anyone. It is not the customers fault that the devs are incompetent.
Yes there was a mistake, but destroying the trading post also Amazons mistake? Or maybe we got players among us that take any chance they get to ruin this game? Hence why we need AGS to take actions against them!
Yeah, ban the large number of people that spent the gold, and then my dead server will literally be left with just a few players. Sounds like a great idea…
Alternatively acknowledge the mistake and roll back the server to just before the money was issued.
AGS did ban the coin seller for disrupting the game economy, right?
Maybe this time they should consider banning themselves.

People like myself who got like 20k is about right but people who got like 300k is awful. You cant ban someone for Amazon games incompetence at testing patches
and when the compensation is so high, that everyone knows it must be a glitch and you use it anyway and try to wash the money or take advantage, you do this on purpose knowing you abuse a glitch and exploit.
Ban - perma or at least 7d

everyone knowing it must be a glitch, if they got 300k and used it on purpose anyway had exploitet and deserve a ban!
