so… they’re working on auctioneer ( a wow addon ) for new world. … i mean it will work. in wow I took over the economy of chromaggus for a year. it wasn’t “illegal” there. only bot networks will be able to do this with new world however- because of selling limits- and regular folks arn’t going to buy 10 accounts- to conquer the markets
I don’t believe the bad actors have transferred off our server. I just received notice that all taxes will be maxed out by the few companies that control the Vahalla Server territories and economy.
They’ve done this before after i confronted them.

Obviously you have no clue. This “Farm tool” is a double edged sword.
Jeez, watch the video. The title is click bait. For those too lazy to inform yourself, let me sum it up. The current TP sucks. There is no data to understand where pricing has been, is it going up/down, where is it likely to go etc. If you are a trader you know this is key. All this tool does, quite simply, is pull buy and sell order information using the API (which OBVIOUSLY AGS made available), aggregate it so you have better information. Of course, if you’d rather try and keep that information in a spreadsheet (or worse your head) good luck with that. In fact, please do so as I’d love to take advantage of your lack of information as you buy and sell on the market.
Data analytics of materials sold is not the only data such tools have access to.
Besides, all player access to such information or none.
You should reap these benefits for being a patron? Paying a monthly Fee? No
I don’t believe AGS made an API available for this. The only API I have seen is one that shows server status. They are also charging to “beta test” it and that is against the ToS.
AGS didn’t make one - imo these people should be banned.
I didn’t think so and if that is the case, yes they should be banned because that means they are getting the data through shady methods. They should also be banned for charging to use it.
Honestly this type of thing needs to be implemented by AGS. Hire these guys and get it done in-game, and everybody wins.

I say ban the people that “got ahead” using this since November.
Not just for ToS violation but for causing chaos in-game for new and existing players.
These “users” are to blame for the drop in new accounts.
A new player, farming all day only to be robbed when selling his wares on the TP?

You guys do get that it is a federal crime to access a data network/server without authorized access, right? You don’t think if AGS had a problem with this they wouldn’t have had half their legal team on this and a C&D like stink on shit? Seriously?
As others have said, this sort of functionality should have been built into the TP from the get-go instead of the convoluted cluster-F we have to use. If any of you have played EveOnline you know what a real market is all about.
I do agree with the sentiment that if it becomes monetized that is problem. But there are plenty of ways to make money without charging access fees. You guys have heard of ads, right?
As far as people getting ahead it is doubtful many did during this beta as they were only collecting data for a couple of servers. I don’t recall which ones and who knows, they have probably been merged into other servers at this point.
Ban? This isn’t some sort of gold dupe caused by AGS’s incomplete coding abilities. Anyone who wanted access simply had to go to the company’s discord and sign up.

At the risk of failing to learn the lesson, again, that you can’t argue with stupid, let me answer your question. 100,000s of gold. But that was all earned using the absolutely stupid mechanics AGS provides within the game. As I’ve already said, their beta only included a few servers and none of them were MY server. HAD I had access to BETTER market information I will guarantee it would have been in the millions. That isn’t intended as a brag, that’s just sort of what I do. Just like in Eve.
