Everyone in here is assuming he was banned for using the minimap only because OP thinks that. OP could of been duping, exploiting, botting, you name it.

one CS rep did and other CS reps have said the opposite. and as we already discussed in the other thread we both diagreed on Kay’s statement.
I’m done talking about this as it’s offtopic from the thread which is why the OP was banned.

Off topic is making assumptions why the OP got banned with no evidence.
Kay’s statement directly applies to the current topic, regardless if you don’t like what Kay said or not.

permaban for minimap? Give at least a warning first in such cases, its fking minimap guys… Hatchet players that used+300% dmg exploit are still playing with no warning or penalty, and you give permaban for a minimap without any warning?
This guy is alpha-testing your game, and he even paid you and not vice versa…

did you even read the CS response, it only said that he was “cheating” it never ONCE mentioned addons,overlays, or minimaps.

As I said, the OP dictates the topic, straying from the OP’s topic is being offtopic. I did look, I’m just not going to make the assumption based on a generic response.
There has been 2 responses shown in here. 1) from the OP which is generic, and 2) a follow up from a CS rep that is specific.

If it was simply a response that wasn’t him saying exactly the same thing the Dev’s said. I would agree, I wouldn’t go off that alone, but he didn’t.
I’m of the opinion that the CS rep responded based on the title of the thread, without knowing any of the details of his actual case. It’s the reason why they have a appeals system instead of doing it through the forums.
And I still think OP came to the forums to seek sympathy in the court of public opinion.
Yes because he responded to the topic not the case. I have never disagreed with that.
I’ve also never disagreed that there might be another reason for the actual ban. All I’ve continued to point out is the response in regard to the actual topic.

I agree with the bans, its been stated over and over and over and over again. I don’t agree with perm bans on this regard, I would say 30 days would be a good fit maybe 2 weeks.

You don’t have any rights here, you signed a ToS.
You know every online game makes you sign the ToS nobody ever reads? In majority it basically states “We have the right to remove access from your game for reason 1…2…3… etc” basically to the degree they can remove your access to the game servers or game itself for any reason or no reason at all.
You don’t “Own” almost any online game and have merely signed a one time lifetime rental agreement, which the company selling you the agreement can terminate at anytime for any or no reason at all with no notice.
