Banned for making a joke about the coin bots/seller. Update: unbanned

@Kay Sorry to tag but I think you helped someone else who thought it was funny to pretend to be a bot (who then got reported by the entire server). If you have a moment, your love is needed here.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help so far! We still hope we can figure out the solution soon.

wait a god damn second iv seen this one before.

Yes, sorry I am not good at English so I am referencing a similar situation to another post.

I had exactly the same feeling, at first I thought someone bumped my post but something felt a bit off lol

As someone who had very similar problem, I can recommend to keep sending ban appeals, probably it’s better to change appeal’s title to something describing the problem. Also mention few times in appeal that you’re not a coin seller/bot, and give as much proof as possible to that. All appeals sent by my bf got very similar answer until he changed the title of a ban appeal to something like “I got banned for a joke about coin sellers” and pointed out how every single sentence in his joke was fake and obviously not an ad, rather it was to insult the coin sellers.

Apologies for my late reply, I was off work during yours.

As you said I am afraid live support wouldn’t be able to directly review your case, nor us mods in the forum, as appeals can only be reviewed by the appeals team.

As @Falcinnie mentions, the best way to go would be to follow the process, keep appealing your case and make sure the situation is as detailed as possible in your ticket so the agent reviewing your case can understand the situation.

Hope I was able to clarify the situation and good luck! :honeybee:

Still waiting and keep appealing. It’s been a couple day I have waited. Haven’t got any response yet. Tried to have the appeal making sure the situation is as detailed as possible.

If anyone from the forum staff would like to investigate - please, this is our last hope.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help so far!

Have you gotten any confirmation on your email that appeals were received by AGS? I might be wrong, but I’ve noticed that if there’s no confirmation like this, the tickets and appeals are just stuck somewhere in void between user and support. This happened to my bf once with english support. Also none of the tickets that I sent through polish website got any confirmation or answer either - it’s been few weeks, so I am 99% sure they’re just lost (anyway the issue is already solved). Again I might be wrong, but based on what I just said, maybe it has something to do with language or country you’re appealing in?

Yes, I have gotten the “We’ve Received Your Appeal” confirmation email but didn’t get any respone afterwards. I am appealing in the US specifically US West. I wonder on the Server Name, should I put “US West - Neno Kuni” or just put “Neno Kuni”?

I sent all my appeal over here, is that the right place?

Confirmation Email quote:

Hello,
We’ve received your penalty appeal, thank you for your submission. Our team of moderators will review your appeal and respond back via email with a decision.
Thanks for playing Amazon Games.
Sincerely,
Customer Service Amazongames.com

Seems like everything is fine then. It’s also the right website. Not sure how is it with the server name but just “Neno Kuni” should be fine. Lack of any answer is weird in that case…

Yea, they look normal but just missing the last answer.
When you said “none of the tickets that I sent through polish website got any confirmation”, which website did you send afterward getting your bf unban? Is it some other country? Can I have that website? Thank you so much for your help! :purple_heart:

For ban appeals we used the official english AGS website - exactly the one that you linked few posts earlier (my bf is from US, so that was the best option for him). It sometimes takes a bit for them to respond but it’s best to wait 2-3 days before sending another ticket if they don’t respond or lost it. We usually waited around a week with resending appeals, so it doesn’t seem too much like spam.

Thank you! I will do that.

Thank you everyone so much for all the help! Especially @Falcinnie , biggest help all the way! All your information help so much! We follow through the way!
The account got unbanned. We are super happy about it!

I have a very similar problem, my brother unknowingly bought duplicate items (good price, large quantity) and received a perpetual ban, I wrote a few appeals, e-mails and nothing but that they will not respond to my requests. The funniest thing is that the players who sold them these items didn’t get banned. In the appeal, I asked him to remove all items from his account, whether they were honestly or “unfairly” obtained, so that he could come back and start over and nothing again. I do not know what to do. Of course, you cannot write on the forum from his account … this injustice is just a joke

I’m glad to hear that! Congrats!

That’s unfortunate. I thought they unbanned all innocent players affected by that duplication bug a while ago… Is there actually not a single response to your appeals from AGS?

It’s so funny to me they are unable to ban bots after weeks of them being reported, but they’ll ban real players left and right for whatever

It’s sad to hear that. You could try to follow Falcinnie solution on this post. I follow everything there and it works. Change the title, give info as detail as possible, give as much proof as possible.
