Banned For Name "High King"

Thank you @raftel for explaining to them the difference. ive been trying but they just fail to grasp the concept. You are a literal high king dude

I dont really see why a name change is even in order?

because it’s the proper title given to someone in lore.

Back in the day in WoW TBC like 15 years ago my guild mate and his wife got politedly asked to change their names, one was LichKing and other was LichKingsWife =)

I so if there isnt anything yet in the lore in game where might be something coming up

EDIT: typing errors

there is. High King is all over the place. May not be a NPC, but it is in the lore.

That’s completely reasonable too if they plan to use it themselves that’s a perfectly valid reason to ban a name from being used, but they should at least give that explanation, Otherwise, you get things like this, where OP feels his name is perfectly valid and waits it out because he went through the trouble to get the name in the first place, and is hoping for an explanation.

gott is not english, thus does not apply.

  1. a North American river turtle with a dull brown shell and typically having yellow stripes on the head.

Literal definition of a cooter.

The name Cooter is of Anglo-Saxon origin. … More specifically, as the name was derived from the Anglo-Saxon word “coot,” it was a surname which arose as a nickname .

Houseofnames.

Urban dictionary: Not even going there because thats a trap surrounded in curtains (The fact that i said curtains should notify you that i am well aware of what the name is actually referencing, im just too much of a gentleman to say it here)

I was not asked to, I am being forced to do it or choose not to play, with zero explanation as to why. Anyways, it is clear that you did not even read my OP, it has clearly stated that I already submitted an appeal with no answer or email regarding it, whatsoever. With additional reach out to Live chat customer support.

Please refer to: Appeal a Ban - Support | Amazon Games
clearly stating that I should not and can only appeal a ban one time. I don’t know why you would ask me to do this again. Maybe you are just an Automated forum bot?

Lastly, I was suspended from posting / logging into this forum for 24h as of yesterday, Reason unidentified. The forums are absolutely there to have civil discussions, about the type of bans people are receiving, problems with the games & also things they love about the game. To think otherwise…is just yikes, man. May as well just delete the character, I will not change the name & I have uninstalled the game. I will not continue to support a community like your team is creating.

I’m genuinely curious. How do you pronounce that? Is the h silent?

Awerd-ree
and just to add… my name is pronounced keelie

Ooooooh, okay. I was thinking Ard-ree. I was way off about your name so thank you for telling me!

Nooooo, the forums are NOT there to discuss bans. Crimes and penalties should never even be allowed to be discussed on forums. It does nothing to help either side.

Merriam-Webster begs to differ.

Definition of forum

1a**:** the marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city forming the center of judicial and public business

b**:** a public meeting place for open discussionThe club provides a forum for people interested in local history.

c**:** a medium (such as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas

2**:** a judicial body or assembly : COURT

3a**:** a public meeting or lecture involving audience discussionThe town has scheduled a public forum to discuss the proposal.

b**:** a program (as on radio or television) involving discussion of a problem usually by several authorities

Synonyms

this is not a public forum. this is what we call a private forum. No different than tweeter or facebook. Private forums don’t allow you to say whatever you want. Thats why they are private. Ask donald trump how his free speech lawsuit went against twitter…

I wouldn’t bother, when 44 out of 139 posts in 1 thread are from 1 single person that is not even the OP I’d consider that harassment.
