The problem, freddy, is that people who dont get the response they want just keep fighting with mods and devs rather than accepting thatā¦ags can do whatever the hell they want and you agreed to contract that says so.

Second, heās looking for clarification from a support guy. The website pretty much sends you to the forum for questions like these, this is the Game support section and itās a valid place to ask this when youāve already waited 4, no make that 5 days now? Your assumption that his name is banned, sorry, prohibited is just thatā¦ an assumption.
Leave the guy alone in trying to get some supportā¦

So are you stating that you work for AGS & can confirm that they will no longer be looking into this? are you confirming you are speaking on behalf of Amazon?

youāre absolutely right, no one is trying to organize any rally against amazon. They are simply discussing in game issues.

yes they have all been told the same thing, open a secondary appeal (which is against the rules) odd to me why you donāt see the problem with this. Keep the mindset that there should be no discussions for the course of actions which could be taken against you, youāre real bright.
I mean, why have speed limit signs? why not just guess whatās going to land you a ticket. Also do not discuss the speed limit.

This conversation has really gotten in the weeds here, and the post from the community mod did not shed any light on the reason, which is what the entire post was about. Itās a canned response pointing to naming policy for which there could be any number of reasons.
Meanwhile on my server, we have names such as HeavyMethUser, Earl Von Cu****** (I wonāt type it here, but it rhymes with rummy).
I even have a friend who was unable to use the name from the start, MrGlass, because the name field said the name was forbidden. Not taken, forbidden. This friend has a rare bone disorder and took this name to mirror a character in a story as his own personal joke, but thereās nothing offensive or improper about the name. If Amazon was going to make a blacklist of words to avoid using I have seen quite a few that should have been at the very top of the list. Truly vile things.
Some people here sure pick strange hills to die on. There is an awful lot of conjecture based on the idea that the OPās name was forbidden for lore reasons, but thatās an educated guess at best. Thereās no reason in a case like this a player cannot be told why. If itās a question about naming conventions then a developer response of āit goes against policyā isnāt exactly a way for players to discuss naming conventions.

In my opinion itās normal in MMO game to sometimes have a little argument or a little bit of lyrical brawl with other players, within a reasonable borders ofc. When the game started I joined straight away at 8am and there was no clear guidelines or community policy to accept or just read and know what is acceptable and what kind of language will get you banned. So I was playing and one player was flaming on the other for no reason so I wrote āyou have 4cm ppā and that was literally all Iāve written on chat for like 6h of playing. At approximately 2 pm I was banned for 24h, reason āabusive behaviorā, there was no previous warn notification, no chat ban, straight 24h account suspension. At the same time people were getting banned for 24h for some extremely racist shit and really abusive language. So I decided to contact support, I told the guy that I was banned for no reason and I want suspension taken off the account, so he replied that no abusive behavior bans are being taken off due to the nature of the ban, ans moderators are godlike all-knowing creatures so they know if ban was given to me for a good reasn period. That was kind of funny considering what I actually written on chat. I decided then to change the the narration and contacted other Amazon support guy and I said that game doesnāt tell you what is acceptable and what is not, that you have to find policy on your own and I didnāt mean to really upset somebody, and it worked. Guy replied that he understands hopes that I will behave well in the future so he will contact moderators on my server so they can take off my suspension and now plot twist, turns out that to get unsuspended by moderator it takes from 24 to 48 hours, so longer than original ban. Conclusion: Amazon sucks ass when it comes to ban policy and community guidelines are up to whatever decides to ban you.
