saying you didn’t cheat means nothing, if you got banned, you definitely did something wrong.

But its just 24 hours right? Based on reddit and some people on the forum, and again do not be surprised it this is closed or gone, its against ToS and Code of Conduct to discuss this matters in public forums

The police show up and take you mom away for “breaking the law”. They don’t say how but you can appeal.
You try to appeal.
They ask you to prove she didn’t break the law.
You ask what law she broke so you can look into it.
They refuse to tell you.
That sound fair to everyone?
AGS doesn’t need to argue their case. If they say something is bannable, that’s their prerogative,.
BUT
They still need to at least tell you what you got banned for.
Because
(1) Their automated systems might have had a false positive
(2) Their human systems might have screwed up
Where this gets tiresome for AGS is a lot of players who actually did cheat and should be banned try to weasel their way out of it. Just as so many post on the forums why such and such a cheat isn’t a cheat, an exploit isn’t an exploit, or all of it is AGS’s fault for letting them do it, and blah blah blah.
So very possibly they are just tired of the BS and just want to use the rubber stamp on every case and every appeal.
You can thank all the cheaters and exploiters for ruining even bans and appeals.

Two lines in that appeal reply you should really read and comprehend.
- We reserve the right to determine what constitutes unfair play and to take corrective action we deem appropriate.
- We can’t share any further information about our decision, and we won’t reply to further emails about this issue.
They do not owe you proof.

They really do not. The contract states that they can ban with no clear reason. They would have to deliver evidence, if this would be a court case, but you have to sue them first for this.

So my other friend that I play with is now banned as well. The email states is a permanent ban. What they think caused it is when they sold there materials in the market, people that have gold from the exploit was used to buy their items. How is that their fault. Anyways, I hope they fix this issue. I’m not playing New World till my friends get there accounts back.
The message states that the issue was reviewed and confirmed that the players action merited a permanent ban. Seems pretty clear to me. If were some inadvertent act, I would think the ban would’ve likely been temporary. If it were some minor transgression, I would think the ban would’ve been temporary. Chances are good that your friend knew full well that they shouldn’t do what they did and what they did was clearly far out-of-bounds.
It’s not in Amazon’s best interest to just ban players for no good reason at all. If that were happening widely, it would become a “viral” issue. Word would get around and it would have an negative economic impact on the future of the game, which probably hasn’t even hit the break-even point yet.
I don’t know what happened in their case and neither does anybody else here. However, I think that the odds are excellent that your friend knows exactly why they were banned.

Well you guys saying i’m glad he got banned have some self issues to be honest, i did also got banned acused of using bots because i played the game for 12 hours a day for 2 weeks, i got to 60 4 days ago and i don’t habe any tropies or good gear or toons of mats, my estermarks are at 520 and got 10k, my highest profesion is at 125 and others around 90 so explain me how the fuck was i using bots? I didnt even use the freaking overwolf Minimap in case was banneable even when people said was not, i appealed in 3’different languages and the told Me to go cuck myself in a very polite wsy in 3 diferent languanges so what is the point on ban appeals? It’s like getting a fine for soeeding without a picture, thats ilegal in my country at least, i do believe i got the ban for the only reason of having many hours played 
that said i do no care anymore About the game but for sure i won’t be playing any other ags games after this disgusting experience, funny thing is that probably many people who did exploited to dupe trophys got away with it, i’m sure

I’m curious, is you got banned right now how exactly would you prove you weren’t cheating?
It should be easy right? Cause you’re definitely not. How do you prove it?
i would prolly submit a ticket and then let it sail. tho i would only submit the ticket if i know that i havent been doing shady shit in the background, and the fact he says his other friend also got banned, sorry this might not be the docks, but i smell fish.
what do you do when police comes to your door and just arrest you for life ?

i dont know if they cheated or not. but how the hell can u know the reason of your ban if they dont even show anything . if the whole system is corupt and filled with people that dont like the job that they do and just press randomly some buttons to ban people.we seen it happen… i know people that also got baned randomly… i got baned twice on spam report from the same people…
just look at the message they got…

you cant even appeal your ban they also ban your support account…
i got 24 hour ban i contact live support they copy paste same message twice and let me wait 30 min before leaving the room without saying anything.

if you get baned 2 times or get warnings whatever… and you have 2 appeals THEY DONT EVEN BOTHER CHECKING THEM. there are 2 diferent appeals. they check and read the first one and give me this message … so the warning that i got was not checked out…and never will be
oh to appeal a 24 ban you have to mail them and you get a response after 48 hours… the logic in that bad.
all im saying is that dont jump to support amazon when the system is this bad.

mb if you were saving videos of your playtime, it can be used to prove you’re not cheating
That eats a ton of drive space. They don’t tell anything what you did and so you have no idea which video to provide anyway.
Even if you kept hundreds of hours of gameplay I don’t think AGS would watch part of it, much less all of it.
I’ve seen people saying they were banned for mass reporting, with screenshots of people talking about mass reporting them, and they still remained banned. I think the system is automated and it’s busted an unfair.
Sadly all you can do at this point is leave a negative review and stop supporting AGS. I’ve honestly thought about cancelling my prime subscription and just blacklisting Amazon as a whole.
