I wanted to transfer servers and before doing so I made some new characters to scout some other servers and interact with the community and check the faction balance. No one wants to transfer to a server where PvP is dead because a faction controls the entire map, so without the proper tools to look at each server the only solution for those of us transferring is to make a new character and scout. Unfortunately, about 5 minutes after a successful world transfer, I was hit the a perma ban. I believe this is some kind of incident with the EAC thinking I am a gold selling bot, but obviously I am not. My main character is level 48 with a decent amount of progress to prove that I actually play the game. The characters I made to scout were names that were easy to delete such as “eztodelete” or “IllIssslLd.” I have contacted appeal a ban and nothing so far. How does AGS plan to compensate players for all the time lost in game? I could have my auctions up (none of which are up because I JUST transferred), I could be collected resources, getting gold, or leveling. Instead I am stuck with an unjust ban. What are they gonna do about this? Has anyone else experienced the same?
