My thoughts: You deserve the permaban you got. So does anyone else who did it. So does anyone else who knowingly does crap like this in an MMO.

I completely agree. This is AGS’s game, we just play it. However they chose to discipline cheaters is their call not ours. Don’t cheat/exploint and enjoy the game. Honestly anyone speaking out about people being banned thinking it’s the wrong call is most likely a cheater/exploiter themselves.

totally agree. as now people got unbanned for the crafting exploit and AGS promised to remove the item crafted… THEY STILL HAVE THE ITEMS how is that fair?
It’s good to punish people but perma ban someone from his first offence without any sympathy it’s really harsh. punish people for 2 3 4 months and on their second offense perma ban them. people who played the game for 3k+ hours and never gave up on the game I’m sure they used it because they saw that a lot of people got away with it before this is why they did it.

Personally my morales fall with everyone gets a second chance. Like yea ban em for however long or even delete that character and if they do anything again then BAM they’re outta here. Also not everyone who was perma banned did the offense, soo yeah.

This whole experience has woke me up! My actions have consequences ! and I was part of a problem! I want to be part of a solution now but , I understand if ppl don’t want me in the community any more.
All I’m saying is that I would like to see a “new world community” where players “change” because we foster good behaviours and punish bad behaviours… throwing people out of the community is sometimes warranted , but shouldn’t we do that after we give them a chance to fix their ways !
I did a bad thing and that’s on me, I violated the trust of its players , I’m owning that! I have to admit my mistakes if I want to be better person. I’m not proud of what I did and I deserve the hatred that is coming my way 
this is part of my consequence !
But I’m not going to avoid an important conversation about a community that I love , even if I’m not a part of it any more

Perma seems harsh but if ags wants to do that w.e. i guess. I dont think it matters to them that they lost you, theyve got a possible large portion coming for brimstone so they can afford to take this hard line stance even tho you have played an insane amt of hours. Id say take a break and wait til fresh start servers pop up, thats where i predict everyones gonna go anyway. Dupe after dupe after dupe/exploit all the way to the 1 year anniversary. Id say fresh start is the only option to not feel like everyone has had massive advantages over you in that regard. You got banned this time, but all the others who didnt do it but have done it in the past are still playing. At least now we know ags has a hardline stance and we can comfortably play on fresh start servers.

My thoughts? I’m thinking that the only reason you regret doing it is that you got caught doing it. I’m glad you’re permabanned and I hope everyone else who decides to cheat enjoys the same fate.

I didn’t knowingly exploit anything, no trophy bug nor trade duping! Still im also perma banned, in fact i don’t even know what happened exactly. Most probably while trading with a friend something got duped and it was most probably something cheap as otherwise i would had noticed it. I have hundreds of thousands in my account and i got perma banned for few hundred worth item because i ‘‘exploited’’ a bug. This whole ‘‘banning exploiters’’ process is a joke in every way…

I totally believe in second chances and have benefited from that philosophy in real life.
But i paid my dues first, which is what you must do.
The punishment fit the crime. Your road to redemption is to roll fresh start and never cheat again.

There must be accurate punishments, if somebody placed a dozen trophies and crafted dozens of 600 gear perma ban is accurate i must say. But if somebody accidentally duped some items while trading perma ban isn’t accurate at all, rather after those items are removed and their bans must be lifted. There are still dozens of bugs in every side of the game it is just ridiculous banning people because they faced a bug because then EVERY account in New world must be banned as we all benefited from bugs like dungeon bugs one way or another!..

I have played through all the gold dupes and item dupes so I saw our economies crash ! I thought that Amazon was taking it easy on these people and figured “ if you can’t beat ‘em, join em! “ I genuinely thought that and I new genuinely see that that view was not solving the problem, it was just making it worse. You don’t have to believe me obviously, but that is the truth.
Instead of just dismissing my genuine views , how about we talk about the issues that I raised? Such as communicating consequences to players? Implementing staggered punishments ? Etc ?
