Hi @Luxendra if you came across this issue several days ago why is it that the items can still be salvaged in game. Now im seeing these posts from 26 days ago but I had just encountered this issue today going through my questing. Did you not feel obligated to at least put a warning post up for the community on the games main menu or at least something that makes people aware of this so they dont encounter the same issue many other players encountered. Horrible decision making if you ask me now I cant get my quest completionists and im sure a lot of other players are in the same boat. You must fix this, just make it so whoever salvaged the items can go back to the outfitting or forge and reclaim them. Please we beg of you!
They could just add Reset Quest option and all related items to that quest to be deleted. For example: **
- If you completed that quest and want to abuse the Legendary item should be automatically destroyed. If for some reason you lost your item just reset the quest and do it from very beginning.
- If its too much of a trouble to add protection over quest related items.**
Same here, salvaged both shrouded intent boots and protective wyrd shoes 
Missing Protective Wyrd Gloves. Don’t remember salvaging it but may have accidentally. Please let us craft it again.
I too have run into this. I did all three questlines, and now have quite a few legendary components I can’t use because they’re directly tied to each armour type, which I have salvaged along the way.
Being able to craft the base item, or get the set from the original quest giver seems to be a good fix.

Same thing happened to me! If it’s a quest item how come it’s not treated like other quest items and protected from salvaging, at least a warning that you are about to salvage a quest item that is needed…seriously guys bush league devs
I can’t believe it has been a month and this has not been addressed yet. Items can be so easily deleted and not-recovered, and moved between storage at a blink.
Please just update the quest to give you the new item and not “upgrade it” as long as you have crafted it.
quick fix would be: make the quests repeatable
add option: dont show repeatable quests on map
Yes, either make the quests repeatable or allow you to re-create the base pieces using some pre-defined mats if the quest has already been completed.
+1, I knew I should have kept those things…
Me and 3 other mates got the same problem. We salvaged it cuz it was not better than the gear we have, and it didnt show as quest items when crafted. Hope this get fixed so we can finish our missions.
Didn’t have much space and salvaged them as well not knowing they would be needed.
Same here, salvaged wyrd and shrouded intend stuffs cause no one told me there will be a way to upgrade them with successive quests, do something to reobtain those piece (for free of course, and for free i mean with no waste of time) of equipment so we can complete quests and use them eventually. And add in the description of the item to prevent this. thanks
Just opened the box with the “Transference” items and realized I need to keep all this junk armor. It’s all long gone. Why would quest items be salvageable??? Please add a way to get these items back from one of the npc.

- Describe the issue you are experiencing: The quest items (armor pieces) from Battle’s Embrace, Shrouded Intent and Protective Wyrd are not protected against salvaging (like many other items are) and do not count as quest items either. As they are quite low gear score, I deconstructed / salvaged parts of those items already before realizing that those items will be required to complete a later stage of the quest in order to upgrade them to legendary versions and complete the quest.

- What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Deconstruct said armor pieces and try to complete the quest
Please consider making the base items of these three sets craftable in order to “recover” them if accidentally salvaged and ideally add a protection against salvaging on these crucial items.
I think right now I will never be able to complete the associated quests and I will be lacking out on the legendary armor…

With this current november update there is this line of fix:
Which i believe refers to the questlines related on this bug report. So now i ask, how about players that already have their questlines F’d up for savagaing the items unknowing that it would be requiered for quest completion later on.
Will we have a solution for this? @Luxendra @TrevzorFTW @Tosch @Kay @NW_Mugsy please guve us some feedback on this.
