Battle pass dosnt work for pvp players

Some dueling? 2 oprs is like 40minutes. 2 arenas is like 25minutes. Unless you just did a lot of waiting.

I’m also not bagging on what you like. I’m just saying it isn’t actually much

Would you say that having 30 wins in 3v3 and still not being level 2 in the season pass, is sufficient?

Look y’all. I’m not saying that it’s wrong to get on new world and literally only do one or two things the whole time you’re on, but this games progression systems have always been centered around doing a variety of activities.

Watermark, gypsum, pvp track, and now the season pass. It’s not surprising that doing one or two activities only makes for slow progress.

You could say the same to all PvE players who don’t do PvP because they just don’t like it or are afraid of it… But they don’t have any kind of problem with the game rewards.

Nah because they usually:

Do mutations
Gather
Craft
Invasions
Portals
Elite areas
Trials
Maybe PvE in opr

While you’re just talking about doing a couple of opr a couple of arena a some duels.

:man_shrugging:.

I’m a pvper btw I haven’t touched a mutation in months, but I also don’t mind going out and killing “10 forged vangarian knights” and so on.

Maybe not everyone has 8 hours a day to go in and do all the game content every day. Still, in the same amount of time, you get a hell of a lot further doing PvE than you do PvP, and that’s just how it is.

I definitely don’t. I’m on like maybe 2 and a half a day. I’m lvl 37 on the pass. I didn’t buy any lvls.

Yeah. It’s because there are just more PvE activities than there are pvp activities unfortunately

Yes, but 1 dungeon takes 40 min app and 1 OPR also takes 40 min app, but the differences in “rewards” are huge.

This game still has a lot to fix.

Not really. You get like 5or 25 per arena or opr perhaps 0. You only get season xp if your active card rolls it and sometimes it never does. Sometimes it’s just complete 3 arenas etc for 250 xp. I have gotten a Complete 1 opr one time and I’ve rolled like 10 cards. The devs were very misleading about being able to complete it doing anything passively.

thier was another post i saw where they said they did the math and you have to win arenas 54,000 times to complete the pass

2 oprs is 80 mins 2 arenas is 30mins and ill duel for 30mins or so. thats 2.3 hours you can take off 30 mins for speedy games or waiting around, MATH BRUH

Literally neither of these things take that long.

Playing since launch, I cannot remember an opr ever going to time.

yes your correct Goblin in actual gamplay these things are complete faster , you got us , your mega brain is shaking my pc right now. the point is that they can take that long. were playing hours everyday every week and thats the point relax bro

I play since Beta, when this game was real.

When you get out of school we’ll talk.

I played since the preview event dude. What a weird flex

Ok well just because you spend a lot of time doing something doesn’t mean it’s productive now does it?

If someone had the same complaints about the season pass and then they told you that every day they log on and pick herbs for 3 hours and that’s it. You would probably tell them that they’re being ridiculous.

pvp isnt just something, its the other side of the game with different game modes , gear , wars , territory control, you could argue the real endgame if you like pvp over pve , vice versa for pve

The irony in this thread is ironic. :joy:

I don’t disagree. I’m just saying that it’s like 4 things, and you said that you do 3 of them

Firstly, I would like to say that I agree with you. The PVP content in this game doesn’t seem to be as valuable to the dev’s as other content, however, they seem to have recently acknowledge that more frequent balance updates are needed, and that is a good start.

Now that we agree on that, I should probably check if you are even interested at all in having a well-meaning conversation about the topic you have raised. I am concerned by the following statements:

^If we ignore the petty name calling, it sounds to me like you already know of many solutions to your problems, but you just don’t like those solutions. That is fine, however, it also sounds to me like you don’t properly understand the actual problem, you don’t want to properly understand the problem, and you actually seem kind of proud about how much you don’t care about understanding the problem?

I will give you an example. Imagine if they rewarded players 300 gold upon a single duel? This would incentive’s players to win trade duels at mass and gold would be generated in huge sums, causing huge inflation to the economy until eventually everyone was at gold cap and no one can afford anything. We can discuss the differences between “generating” gold and “transferring” gold if you want, but you have already said:

So you seem to be proud about not wanting to know about the way the economy works in new world, despite your complaint being ecenomicaly based. If you aren’t interested in understanding these things, then I’m concerned that discussing this with you is just a waste of both our time. Can you please clarify if you want to actually talk about this with someone, in which case you would have to properly articulate structural problems in the game and propose possible solutions/alternatives to those structures. This would make for a constructive conversation, which I think is what you want to participate in?

I could of course be wrong. Perhaps you actually do not want to have a conversation, instead you may have just wanted to vent, in which case your whole article can be summarised as:

“I’m unhappy and i don’t care about anything else, but i still want people to listen to me”

If that is your position, then I don’t think New world is the game for you, and I don;t think there’s anything further to discuss

Have a nice day adventurer, looking forward to your response
Saint,
