Describe the issue you are experiencing: I originally salvaged the armor set required to be upgraded in the mission. The ingredients are now stuck in my inventory and I cannot create the armor sets without the original piece.
Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug

Here is an example of trying to craft the gear upgrades. The original blue gear doesn’t exist anymore with no direction on how to reobtain it to clear the items stuck in my inventory.
I have the same issue, battle’s embrace gauntlets missing and the item is stuck in my bag. I’d love to be able to just toss it on the ground and move on with my life but I can’t get it out of my bag, can’t put in storage or anything.
New World Team, at the very least, could someone just delete the resources from the quest in my inventory? I don’t care about the armor, just want these removed.
There are multiple Bug Report threads on this as I think I’ve been bumping them all. Has anyone ever found a solution? Has AGS ever been able to delete these itmes?
There are other thread with mod replies, for months, for years, very few words and even less action. Game broken from day 1 is still broken, my disappointment is real, I had such high hopes.
