This quest is being camped by 5+ players at all times and only one of them can skin.
Is this some kind of a hunger games bad joke? The bear also has several if not more than five minutes respawn timer.
Who makes these quests.

The fix for this is simple. Some other mobs for some other quests, wolves and cats for example, drop their quest-required parts in a bag without having to skin them. Not making that design universal is something AGS can change, and I think should change.

You’d think that a game developer making a massive multiplayer online game would think about, you know, multiple players trying to do the same thing. I guess its too much.

I was out there for almost 45 minutes trying to get credit until my inn recall cooled down and I just abandoned the quest.
It’s silly design that I can tag the mob first, hold aggro the whole time, do the bulk of damage, but some random dude hit ‘e’ a fraction of a second faster and gets the quest credit.
I agree. The whole “bring me his hide” might be fun from an RP perspective, but it breaks down anytime more than a few people need the quest at one time. Just have him drop a piece of his hide like the wolves drop a tooth.

Yea I came here to complain too. It’s being camped by several players. Who would have thunk, if you make a quest to kill one specific creature that has a long cooldown that it would block tons of players from progressing??? And where will they come while they wait? Oh yea, the forums.

They are trying to code it against spawn rate exploiters so just like every exploit that needs to be plugged, legitimate players get hurt too.
Exploitation ruins the game for everyone.
