I’ve been in queue since 8:04AM EST. I got into the game at launch within the first 100 in queue. After leaving the tutorial and turning in my first quest on the guard tower in Windsward I lost all WASD control from my character. After 20 minutes and no change in control (tried defaulting controls, changing resolution, alt tabbing, etc…) I closed the game and since that time I’ve been in a starting area queue with sub 30 people on the Tritonis server. People 6000+ in new character queue have gotten in since I’ve been waiting. I’ve gotten all the way down to position in queue 1 and sat like that for 2+ hours with no change before I closed out. I’ve been in queue for 9+ hours now and my number does even update anymore. What do I do here?
Will someone help explain the difference between player queue, world queue and starting area queue? Are there other queues left to explore in New World one can find?
Does my number in queue represent anything for the starting area queue? Am I better off deleting my character and sitting back in the character queue and starting over?
This same issue with WASD stopped being responsive happened to me in two previous play tests and the game launched with this bug thus forcing me to sit in queueville. People are 20-30 levels higher as a result…
Please let me know what to do to move forward even if I need to requeue. I just want answers.
If you’d like me to congratulate you on a super successful launch publicly on twitter I am open to doing that if I can have a path forward here to play your game.
It’s a tough pill to swallow to let my game sit here with no change in the queue number for HOURS not knowing if I’m royally screwed and needs to recreate or not. 9+ hours sitting here in queue again. been here the whole time.
