I like playing the game too. I am not influenced by your negativity.

Why isn’t this opinion honest? Are you saying because they’re only level 48, they aren’t allowed to like the game? You’re actually gatekeeping opinions???

The OP is a noob and just enjoying the time he’s played so it’s not in bad faith. Also, i doubt he keeps up with the playerbase numbers or cares enough to try and fake positivity because of people leaving. Maybe just move on to a different game if it’s that annoying to you? I completely agree with most of the complaints on the forums, but jeeze…

If they only waited on all that and just added 2 new opr maps all the pvp players would be happier.

For those that say, “pve players dont get a say because they only play a portion of the game.” What a strange statement though. Consider a person that doesnt have any intention towards playing the pvp portion of the game and just wants to run adventures in the open world and run dungeons and craft items as they desire. Is that not without merrit? I’ve played new world since the beta, I’ve seen that really the only stuff that new world does between acceptible - good at is their pve, the lights the sounds, the settings, the enemies, the exploration. I’ve been in company wars and invasions and played opr and arena. What i fail to see is how people enjoy pvp so much when there is so much animosity within that part of the game. Players hate you if you heal your team, they hate it if your too tanky, they dont like it when your good or bad. If your range attack your cheating and if you loose fights - “you suck and should stop playing”… My point being that i have way more fun enjoying the pve portion of the game and that has nothing to do with the balance of the game. I would be more curious as to why pvp players would simply dismiss the pve players input, but you guys sure are a contentious lot. Some players will fight over everything. Im not impressed with much of the pvp community for being short sighted. You guys see yourselves as people with the experience to justify your claims of which weapons should be better than others and support none of that with viable alternatives that appeal to the synergy with how all weapons and armour fit in the system its actual facts and intigers. Instead its simply, “nerf x because its OP.”

If it isnt a nerf post, it might get up to 30 responses
If its a nerf post it will almost definitely be 100+ responses.
This means that original ideas get drowned out by thes players.

It looks to me like some people are just mad to hear that players can find this game enjoyable as long as they don’t care about or haven’t touched the PvP haha so many players on this forum like to say this game is failing just because of the lack of new PvP content and the fact that it went in a PvE direction period, but this just helps to prove that is actually not the case.

I only wanted to comment on how much I am enjoying the game as a whole. Yes, it has mainly been PvE at this point, but I can’t see how that changes the view I have of the game.

It’s been nice to read some really nice comments out there, and made me feel that the community as a whole is pretty good. As with all things, there will be some that believe I should not comment so positively on something they are hating on…

Thank’s for the discussion all and let’s hope that the Devs work hard at adding some great content for all styles of play :grinning:

New World is suposed being PvP oriented.
If you like harvesting flowers it’s cool bro, but what is the point ?

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I love to ask you gurus, how do you know the people that solely plays PvE?

Do you monitor them? Do you ask them? How do you people do it?

How many samples you collect to assume those things?

None. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Goose egg.

It gets pulled out of a stinking hole.

You will run into a content wall.

Ya sure there is stuff to do at the early game.

BUT THERE IS NO ENDGAME.

The dungeons get boring AF.

Having only 1 pvp map gets boring AF.

The gear progression is boring AF.

Well. I start by first setting my objectives. Then I write out my survey questions. Then I test said questions on an internal sample group and then on a larger “pilot” group. Once I conclude my survey is ready I deploy it to the community. After the appropriate amount of time passes I collect their responses. I then analyze their responses to the survey to determine the results. Once I have collected the results I promptly dump them in the garbage and substitute my own.

But seriously. Read the statement. It answers all your questions. It’s a casual observation based on personal anecdotal experience. It’s quite clearly stated. It’s not presented as accurate or factual, its not based on anything but empirical. Though it has been my experience that people who solely pve will make it absolutely clear that they only pve. And those people seem to generally be happier overall. But your millage may vary.

bros just a happy camper in this sea of complaints lmfao

This does not foster a positive, friendly community.

I’m really happy for you!
