That is true. It sucks that PvP does not reward Umbral Shards like the PvE content does. I agree that PvP players should have access to GS625 in a better way than currently.
Pvpers dont want to run the same dungeons over and over and over abd over and over and over again for umbrals and expertise and money and gear and gypsum so just relax.

If there was a PvP activity that you could sell a carry in - for 15k - it’d get nerfed so fast. PvP should reward umbral shards. But oh well. New World caters to PvE.

I just saw recipes, being forced to pve? gawd annoying.
I’m in the same boat. I gave PvP an honest try though. My favorite build so far is heavy armor - SnS and throwing hatchet. Heavy keeps any range outside of a musket brigade in check, and shield helps on top of that. Leaping strike and social distancing both help for running out of jams. I basically just harass from the outside and leave.
My biggest gripe is that without group queue and solo queue split, they’re basically forcing us to feed ourselves to the 5 man groups and its a bit insulting.

I agree with you. Don’t force people to pve or pvp, but 10 gypsum is nothing compared to the pve grind ahead. I know my eyeballs are going to blow up getting all that materia.

As a pve player I fully support moving pvp to it’s own server with 100% forced flagging all the time, it would help to remove the more toxic parts from the normal game. Honestly, as long as the server is transfer locked both ways I can’t see any issue with it.

PvP players, have to grind a whole PvE content for GS within decent time. PvE players need to play 10 OPR games for 10 Gypsums for crafting and everyone looses their minds. Lol
Imagine being a PvE player, needing to join a PvEvP mode, where you can literraly spend the whole match killing wolves, cutting trees, building doors and still complain because “they have to PvP” ![]()
If you’re trading wins then that the hell are you complaining about when you’re not actually participating in PvP content as it was intended anyway?
