Being kicked out of the game after 10 minutes of playing. Issue first started occuring after the latest update, before that never experienced any problems

I keep getting this message after 10 minutes of playing. I get kicked out of the game and then have to reboot the game in order to log in again, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

If i reboot the game I can log in again but I get disconnected again after a few minutes of playing. Rebooting the game sometimes enables me to log in again but sometimes even that doesn’t work so I just can’t enter the world to play.

Out of curiosity, have you updated to Windows 11? I saw someone else with the same issue who had just updated, so just checking to see if they’re related!

Try repairing the game files via Steam :slight_smile:

  • Start Steam as admin
  • Right click on New World in your library
  • Select “properties” on New World
  • Select the tab "Local Files
  • Click on "Verify integrity of game files ".
  • After successful check restart the PC
  • Restart Steam, but not as admin

And then:

A repair of EAC:

  • Open your Steam library and right click on New World.
  • Select “Manage” and then “Browse local files” to access the installation folder.
  • Open the Easy Anticheat folder
  • Start the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe.
  • In Easy Anti Cheat select New World and click “repair”.

This is an old rare bug, which already exists since the beta. Regardless of which version of Windows is installed. Most of the time it helps to follow the steps described above.
If that doesn’t work, you can also delete the asset file described in the error message and then run the repair again.
If you get an error after that, you may have to reinstall the game, but I don’t take any responsibility for that.

Hello. No I haven’t. Kater solved the issue I had. I had to verify the integrity of my game files. Now everything works smoothly again I just checked. I believe this topic can be closed as it is resolved now. Thank you for your reply!
