We also have existing workaround for some issues that you can find here:

  • What is your character name in New World: InebriatedFish
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Pyrallis
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Being defeated in PvP near my campfire respawn point causes an endless load screen
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Possibly both
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: The only way to get out is to close the program entirely, leading to a 3 hour queue to log back in
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No, upon successful login I am greeted with a blank death screen, and a choice to respawn in the closest cities and the campfire is no longer available
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: This has happened to me twice, both times I was killed in PvP almost on top of my campfire respawn point.

This is happening to me as well. Only way out of the infinite load screen is to alt+F4 and wait in queue to log back in

Same issue is happening to me over here on Nunne Chaha server.

This just happened to me earlier! I was pvping outside the Everfall fort, and I died pretty close to my camp. The loading screen was endless (like 5+ min, longest I’ve ever seen), so I closed the game.

I immediately logged back in & was still dead. So I tried to revive at my camp again, and again I got the endless load screen… finally, after closing the game and relogging a second time, I selected to revive at Everfall town & that worked without any issues.

so where is the fix? it’s not hard to reproduce it and it was around and reported since closed beta.
