Best Part of New World, Once 60

100% Finally someone whom looks at the bigger picture.

If your car is making a knocking noise, do you think it’s just complaining?

Also, maybe 60s can help run us lowbs through dungeons. I’m 48 and now I need to run Depths for my main story quest, but I can’t find a group for it. :frowning:

I can help you, spending more time here in the forums anyway and I didn’t buy the forums.

I’m level 60 but only have level 60 gear nothing special.

What’s your game name and I’ll try and figure out how to add you ingame. Won’t be till this evening considering I wasted all my time here on the forums today.

Killin noobs in pvp and exploring all of the content. Oh and reading all the books. Hanging out with the company and shooting the shit in voice.

The journey is better than the destination… IF you rushed it, you missed the journey, start over & enjoy it? Besides, New region coming soon. It is official, on the official explorable map. Go all the way up to the top left ā€œcoming soonā€ pops up: Map | New World

This, this, 1000x this. I started on day one (hell, I was an early Alpha 1 PvP murderworld tester), and I’m STILL only 48 in game! I’m taking my time, enjoying the hell out of the world that’s been created for me to play in.

Rushing to endgame in ANY new game has always been a recipe for disaster.

Thanks! If you’re on Ferri, I’m ā€œOyjordā€ there. Would love a hand with Depths! TIA!

Don’t make the mistake of playing a game till it makes you physically nauseous to play.

Move on perhaps like others you’ll cycle back through.

Actually, that’s the end game.

Haven’t rushed the game. Still haven’t even finished my main quest.

lol, and never said I was quitting, rather I said I was bored. But as some have pointed out, I don’t play with anyone. So, that maybe worth exploring along with an active guild.

I enjoy the game and feel the artwork is really good.

Had no clue about this whole quitting scenario along with the player drop until I visited the forums.

Obviously, I started to experience what others have been and came to the forums for answers not conflict. But rather it would appear the community does not want to hear complaints but what does the community do if they have a problem?

If you purchase a new item, do you expect it to be broken? And if it’s broken, do you say whatever and just keep it? Depends on the item and it’s worth to you.

Anyway, Thank All of You whom actually commented about the Best Part of New World.

@Oyjord I am on a different server. (US West Midian)

I’m gonna go out on a limb that playing with others might be what gets you excited again.

I personally believe that having to play with friends makes it so much better in any mmo, especially this one.

I’ve tried ESO, WoW, Wildstar, TsW… alot of these mmos allow so much solo play (with the exception of classic wow) that you basically could get the best gear purely playing by yourself. Even in other survival games like Conan or Rust or Grounded, we can basically play it like a single player game.

NW however, struck a different chord with me. I knew that I needed help, even with crafting. Friends that can farm nodes while you toil away on the stations making their gear. Being with another flagged buddy makes the random encounters fun and a blast, even if it was to our detriment. Needing a proper holy trinity (we are a group of 3 close friends) when we 3 man Ambusti Superior goes a long way to putting achievements on our personal board.

Making friends with other fellow company leaders so that we could get slots in Invasions, Wars, 10mans… I feel that this is what you could be missing. There are times definitely, when you just feel like picking daisies and that’s fine. The 3 of us do that too, after a couple of days of grinding gypsum, chests and elite poi.

The game’s buggy as hell, we still can’t mass transfer items via the arrow button, we still have graphical ui bugs that show orichalcum as nuts, we still randomly get booted out of the game but because you’re with friends, it’s not what you do in game. It’s who you do it with.

Maybe we’ll move to another game in the end if this game doesn’t cut it for us. That’s what happen with the other games we played. But that’s fine. We agreed on how much of a grind this game has. But ultimately, this game reminded us of why we loved playing mmos and other coop multiplayer games.

Unfortunately there is no end game. The game just ends at 60. Crafting, watermark farming, OPR/Invasions/Wars are all pointless. There is no end game because all you have is two easy to complete dungeons. Gold sellers tanked the market. Player towns dont really serve any value and PVP is unplayable with the rubberbanding lag since 1.1

Just log off and wait till ā€œNew World: A Real Rebornā€. Maybe then there will be post 60 content

Game forums are like the 2% of players. Most other people are too busy having fun and play then come here. That’s why most topics are complaining about stuff.

Thank you for your post.

You explained it well and addressed my concern.

I believe you are correct and I am missing the Social Side. I truly enjoy this game. I left PC gaming for years and went backwards to console. Once going over to console, I never had what I had with PC gaming, the Social Side. I missed it tremendously. (Of course, in those days I was a clan leader of a battlefield 2 clan. Rented a server, had a website, 100 members, forums, etc.)

I then decided I wasn’t going to buy another XBOX just to have a console collection. Rather I built a new PC. I then searched out my old clan mates and gamer friends. All are spread out between several different games and all are spread out in new clans along with different discords. Only 2 of them were playing New World but both leveled to 60 and quit playing. I am now the only 1 in our company.

I looked around the forums here in search of a Company Recruitment Section but had no luck and started a new thread asking about it.

Side note, How many communication programs do we need, lol - Roger Wilco, Team Speak, Mumble, Vent, etc.

Guess I can take the current governors spot. lol, I’ll join another clan prior to that.

You say that but that just means you clearly havnt looked at the server count with many barely having 200 peak players :expressionless:

No I joined a company before launch and we got on a good server from the start. I did literally one day of research finding a good guild and they did the server research. Not saying everyone just do this but it helps loads.

Honestly, all you need right now is Discord. It’s a bit of everything, from vent, mumble, you name it. You can even start your own community in there, with streams and VC, controlled chat rooms, with mods that can help with managing the discord server.

Join the AGS Discord and hop over to the recruitment section. What you have written as a post in the forum recruitment, you can always just copy paste and look for the company most suitable for you. It takes awhile to get used too but if you have gotten through teamspeak and vent, you’ll get through this easy.

I do have to tell you, just like in the old days, you might need to hop around a bit before you find your tribe. Having real life friends help, but online ones, the ones that you can click with (pun intended) and play with helps too.

I would have offered you a seat in the server we are in, regardless of whatever faction you are. But we are unfortunately on the other side of the world in AP Southeast.

I have discord and will search out AGS discord.

Thank you

Always happy to help on these dungeon runs as there’s a decent gold reward involved for me as well.
