if weapon/armor requires you to do a dungeon to craft, and title as Replica, that is a copy of a drop, so I 100% support the Dev on this, just like a pity system you didn’t get the drop but at least can craft it.
I would not say its a pity system. typically it takes more than one run to aquire the reagents needed to make one piece of armor and it requires you to be 200 crafting thats a lot of work.

I can gather 3k raw hide in 30mins in cutlass keys by farming alligators. 6k in 1hr. Youre obviously playing the game wrong.

Why would i say stuff like this knowing that my company members would be reading this too? Id be digging my own grave, and they would never help me every again with anything else.
Im saying this in big dick energy cause im flexing on my ability to reach 200 in 24hrs without any help other than my gf. And by putting the work in im glad devs limits these named legendary especially for us.
Anyways, i dont mind if they add a timer for crafting named legendary. However, on a weekly cooldown, not daily. This will really reward crafters to keep the prices up of named gears
There just needs to be 2 versions of the same thing, one that has a unique skin and is BOP so you could show off your crafting skills to wear something you made, and another version that is a different skin that is BOE so it could be given, traded, or sold to other players.

A third option: Have outfit overrides available that only unlock once you MAKE the item.
This would work well enough, as long as the item itself is BOE so it could also be traded.
It’s great to give uniqueness to the crafters that get to those levels, farm those mats, and create those items, but there’s no good reason to restrict them from selling or trading those items. It’s too limiting.
6k in and hour. then off to Myrk/eternal pool and various other high level zones to farm the thousands of tannin you needed and off to the high level zones to farm the thousands of thick/iron hide linen and iron you need. yes I am a crafter. you will not be farming enough to hit 200 crafting in one day. you will never convince anyone here who is a 200 armor crafter its possible wih out spending a large amounts of gold to do it in one day.
I know where to farm every item for maximum yield but there is a realism here your not going to admit to and its fine. next time you solo your way through a 50+ zone and pick up several hundred leather/cloth refining reagents per hour let me know I want to watch the stream.

Aged Tannin = 0.38
Rested tannin= 0.24
Tannin= 0.15
Point is you make it seem like there is nothing to get to 200 crafting which is 100% based on server pop and how much the server has been effected by gold duping.
I said i spent 10k in totall.
actually, the actual amount i spent is 18k.
However i made 8k back in gears i sold after hitting 150. So technically, 10k in total i spent.
18k which includes everytbing else i bought (tannin…etc)
I did not say i solo’ed lol.

Dont see how you made 8k worth of items sold. ive made well over 1000 items and almost none have been sell worthy. I really have a hard time believing this? especially at 150 armor crafting. most of those items are barely GS 500. I really don’t feel like this is possible but ill take your word for it.

Weapons with these perks are easily 2k plus.
Oh sorry, one thing i failed to mention was i had full specialist bonus. So right of the bat with food etc, i was able to craft 530~550gs.

Youre right, things qre very different server to server. Like ive said, maybe i got lucky with my server. 
So you did not do armor crafting. Weapon crafting is a whole other animal and way less random you cannot in any way compare it to armor. Also you cant pick 2 perks on a item only 1 the rest is random unless its a BOP or a special print thats not BOP when crafted.
Most armor will get trashed. No one wants Plate Gloves with Int/Dex and wrecking ball on it. I rolled 3 pairs of gloves in the last 2 days with those exact stats.
Haha i also did armor smithing but that was before they implemented the crafting nerf.
And yes arrmor smithing is something else,it was a real pain since alot of it are trash.
Yeah weaponsmithing is all about luck with perks.
Hammer and axe are two of the easiest money making items.
Int axe with op perks can still be sold at a very high price for int users.
ok I understand now. Yes most secondary weapon perks are usable. Im totally kicking myself for not going weapon smith at this point. When I saw all of the Late game armor I decided for my company I would be our Armor crafter. None of us made it to Laz/Gen in the Betas so we didn’t know the armors where BOP so sadly they do no one any good but me.
Post crafting nerf the material requirements to level are much worse and the cost has skyrocketed on the smaller servers. I dont think they took any of this into consideration when they did the size sampling for the adjustments.
Nice thing about weapons is they can always be Gemmed to a Alt build so even off stats can sometimes have a use and be sellable if the perks are good.
