Still having this issue after the betas.
Game runs. Then black screen , fans going 100% but can still hear audio.
Triggers randomly. Have to do hard reset .
On an rtx 3090

Yup, same here. Trying to write something in every post since it’s a really game breaking bug. I mean, we know that there’s a known issue with 3090 cards overall when it comes to power draw but literally every other game I play (many!) works fine. Only New World makes it crash like this.
Try to download MSI Afterburner and pull down your core clock speeds a bit, it should help. The problem comes from the cards boosting too high.
I mean, as a temporary solution so you can play until they fix it (hopefully)

I am running a 3080 ti and had this happen only after updating from drivers 472.12 to the current drivers… I have since used DDU to uninstall the drivers and reinstall the older 472.12 drivers and no crashes since. I hope this helps others!!
