Block trade invite stuck on

  • What is your character name in New World: snappple / JimBoberoniJR
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Castle of Steel
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I have to go into settings to allow trades every time i log in
  • Is this a bug? Yes
  • (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: Just an annoyance trading between teammates
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No, this has been going on for a long time.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: log off with trade invites allowed, log in and trade invites are reverted back to blocked.
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: bad luck?
  • When did this happen? idk like 4 months ago it started

I am sorry to read you are having issues with the Block Trade Invite option, what steps have you done to try to fix this issue?

Have you try switching on/off the “Automatic Invite Rejection” option and the other options whitin to see if this unstuck the Block Trade Invite?

Other troubleshooting will be restoring the settings to default (remember any changes before proceeding).

Lastly, have you tried reinstalling the game?

Unfortunately did not solve

Lastly, have you tried reinstalling the game?
No I haven’t suppose i will do that and report back.

Reinstalling the game did not work and all my settings did not get reset with the uninstall + reinstall.

it would appear i fixed it be deleting the contents of %appdata%/Roaming/AGS/NewWorld/savedata I deleted everything inside that folder and all settings were cleared.
