Ofc bb is good, sword and shield makes it braindead. Hitting a leaping strike on someone to start the combo is 10x easier than hitting any other ability to start the combo. If leaping strike becomes less effective bb becomes way less impactful

Btw sns/bb is the only weapon combo out of all the ones you listed who can 1 combo 200 con 5/5 resil melee.

And it’s because empowered leaping strike is BUSTED

If SnS is the problem why is everyone playing BB and not SnS? Doesn’t make any sense. SnS has been the same for months, it wasn’t a problem. And suddenly when BB comes SnS is OP? Not BB but SnS? Lol

It is only the one ability on sns, and sns has a long cc lock duration and it has been brought up for a while, but bb really proved how easily the weapon can be abused. The need to shorten the cc on it. Sns has a longer stun than spear, but they should reduce it to be the same or just change the stuns to simple knockdowns

Yeah, I have to play the fight perfectly to have a chance, while he just have to be lucky once. Great, not op at all.

It can’t be the same duration as spear since spear has much shorter CDs + heavy CDs reduction throught talents. 2 knockdowns, 1 stun. Warhammer aoe stun, 2 knockdowns + path of destiny.

Ye sure nerf SnS. It has longest stun for a reason - single target melee range. WH has 1,5 aoe stun which applies aoe rend throught perk.

Leaping strike is just the opening movement ( way too fast and way too hard to evade when in war / opr and tons of things happening in same time) . There is NO QUESTIONS about BB dmg need to be reduced and animation cancel need to be fixed

It’s the most fun weapon ever added to this game and you want to get rid of the animation cancel? The only part that needs adjusting is the damage. Light armor users with <150 con SHOULD still get comboed out. Invincible healers with rapiers need a counter. Also you can absolutely outplay it, literally just block or dodge the leaping strike.

Yea easy to say in duel but it’s different in wars and group play. Anyways , if you think any weapon should one shot somebody with 12k hp in an action-based game with no counterplay. BB damage is way OVERPERFORMING , not sure what you talking of

That’s because hatchet has a root. Remember Ice spike? Remeber VG? Those weapons could 100-0 builds with less than 100 con in less than 5 seconds.

BB can 100-0 medium armor with 200 con in less than 3 seconds. But hey, sns op…what a joke

It can do that with perfect set up and that set up is supposedly being removed with DR being increased in the next patch. Stop freaking out because a weapon is capable of doing big burst damage with set up(and then nothing else while it waits for cds)

leaping strike specifically has been op since it got buffed. If any other weapon had a movement ability + cc as good as leaping strikes people would be up in arms. It’s the only movement ability with a cc + no recovery animation + it’s faster than any other movement ability and way easier to aim than other melee weapon attacks. It literally is a perfect ability.

lol yea but i think we have better chance of escaping from that than one shot combo from shield/bb

lol well the guy look like he has faced the same issue as me but my OPR are full of sns/bb u camera feel like is 100% looking behind all the time u cant fight face to face without baby mama sns/bb come behind you and kill you with the cheap combo its not like the guy way wait in the same spot but there are many running the same set up if one didnt kill u the other one would do lol

Lol u half right but u should know they never come in front of you they always come behind you they always get you when u fighting someone else in front of you plus they run away as soon as they missed the strike
