Ga/WH was meta on my first, old server, Muspelheim. Literally 80% of players were running like that
specially in the days when there was some bug about greataxe tracking or rooting people when attacking, dont remember exactly ![]()
GA/WH has too much synergy to not be part of the war meta. Which is the main one that I’m talking about. Opr/open world is a different story.
I tried the blunderbuss, heck I love the blunderbuss, but I can’t do jack for damage with it in pvp. Yet I get OBLITERATED by it in pvp.
I run light 4x, 1 medium. 5x resileince, 5x thrust resist, 3x ele resist, 50 con and the PVP bread. I get globaled.
I tried 300 str/150 intel builds, 300 intel/150 str builds. I just cant get any real damage out of it.
I am fully convinced my account is debuffed at this point.
With all of these threads saying something is op I think everything is actually in a good place. there is just a big difference in damage and and perks from 600-625. I’ve noticed a big difference in damage and I’m not even 620 yet. I think it also has to do with utilizing perks that actually help your gameplay and not meta chasing some ability that only helps certain people, having perks that improve the abilities you are good at and abilities that you will actually trigger are more useful.

if you are letting ur opponent use consumes that often thats a skill issue, typically they pop off 1? 2 potions at most? Just kill them before they potion 4head
People often apply rend and get some empower running to light up with the shot. It’s not just equip the weapon and massacre your server ![]()
I mean camon i play main bow and second bb, juat for fortification and net shot slow ;D so broken ;D
At least one bb user who can admit that the weapon is broken, even if he using himself ![]()
most of people gonna protect the weapons they use… i find it kinda pathetic ;d
To much mobility on skills if we combo it with light armor is untouchable and too OP. Damage with full resilent set is well balanced just this skill where it dodge back it seems to be too big.
BB has no CC besides a slow (blast shot is garbage, stuns yourself) and can only do good damage from up close. The only part that needs tuning down is the fortify for war.

Blunderbuss is definitely overtuned atm. Their burst potential is just too high compared to any other weapon. If it was at least high risk, high reward - ok. But this is not the case, they’re also incredibly tanky with their fortification proc under 30%(?) Hp
Isn’t burst all BB has though? Is it just gonna be a tank offhand after nerfs? Swap on low life like a hatchet or rapier maybe.
I have full thrust gems, and they 2 shot me.
burst is the only valuable dmg in the game.
Guess what I’m saying is, it’d just be a worse bow if nerfed any further.
I won’t say it didn’t happen, because… well, it’s new world. However, without exploitation, I think it would be physically impossible for that to happen if you actually have full thrust gems.
For the record, exploits don’t make a weapon OP. Exploits break a weapon’s normal mechanics, which shouldn’t be the rally cry for “nerf this, because”.
I think for the power bb brings there must be a skill component to it. Not just run upto someone and use 2 abilities + having a get out jail free ticket to flee when the victum didnt die
or just nerf it like u did mage before
