Blunderbuss nerf by adding damage?

I know everyone is talking about the broken blunderbuss combos, but I thought of a potential nerf by adding damage to the blunderbuss, not sure if this will help, but I was thinking part of what’s wrong is that it can do so many delayed abilities that do not break stun. Would adding a tiny bit of aoe damage the instant a blunderbuss ability is used be a potential solution? It wouldn’t change blunderbuss, in fact the only change is it would do MORE damage, but maybe that aoe tiny damage would break the stun before a zillion other things can go off all at once.

Just a thought.
